Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Christina Moye. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Christina , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Alright – so having the idea is one thing, but going from idea to execution is where countless people drop the ball. Can you talk to us about your journey from idea to execution?

I first started with the idea of an informational podcast platform that informs the general community and visual consumer about topics that are current, viral, or trending some sort of necessary information to inform the masses about. Myself and two of my friends Micheal Foster, and Kenyada Davis, whom i attended a Performance Arts Conservatory Program, The American Musical and Dramatic Academy Los Angeles/New York. I originally had a single platform just showcasing myself to an open general audience, informing them of political, entertainment as well as opinionated topics. Engaging with the audience about their opinions and thoughts, general conversation to get inside the various psyche of how people think when it comes to subjective, controversial, and community based topics. Myself and My Friends decided to come together and give more of a diverse perspective coming from a heterosexual male, female, and also a man who is part of the LGBT community. We individually expressed to each other how we could bring in a broader audience as well as be able to bring a sense of humor to our audience to give them more of a personal interaction with us. We started the Podcast March 2022 and have not yet reached a year but have had generous support and even a good handful of consistent fans who watch our Live Show. Working with a diverse panel of hosts is challenging at times having an understanding with one another and respecting differences in opinions. Despite the challenges we faced with each other we overcame with growth and communication as well as keeping in mind the purpose of creating this Podcast Platform.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

On The Mic is Hot Live Podcast Show we want to inform our Audience/Listeners of current news, web, and or Trending Viral Topics. We want to also engage with our audience, sharing unbiased based opinions and thoughts with one another, giving our audience and the general public the opportunity to speak their mind and share their voice within the world of conversations and thoughts. We wanna invite a comfortable space where the audience can come on our show and express their thoughts without judgement, to give everyone their moment to have an open voice. What I feel the most proud of with our platform is the steady but increasing growth with followers and support from our fans. The Love and growth from the people has been, so far, positive and genuine. We eventually want to be able to give back to the people who support the podcast platform once we reach a status of growth financial benefit from the show.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

For Me, the most rewarding aspect of being able to be creative with your talents is its self fulfilling and purpose driven. As well as being able to engage with people from different cultures, environments, and backgrounds. Some of our Audience has made us feel as though we impact their life in a positive way just by giving them an outsource to converse without judgement and we also bring lots of sense of humor, and positive energy eases the soul.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

My Mission with this podcast platform is to eventually have my own self employed resource for myself as well as my fellow counterparts who are a part of the Podcast Platform as well. Also to have the podcast bring awareness and necessary messages to the topics that are discussed on our show. Eventually we would like to expand and have an app or possibly a Live Show segment on an app network such as Hulu, Netflix, etc.
