Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Christina Fitzsimmons. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Christina, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Do you wish you had waited to pursue your creative career or do you wish you had started sooner?
Ever since I was about 11 years old, I always wanted to be a YouTuber. I would run around with my camcorder recording specs of my life and upload it to YouTube for fun. I never took it seriously until 2020, when I couldn’t fight the feeling that I was meant to be on YouTube. So, I uploaded my first video on September 1, 2020 and never turned back. I ended up getting monetized in 17 days and first video sits at almost 900,000 views. It completely changed my life and I think that I actually started it at the right time. Any time sooner, I probably wouldn’t have chose to upload that first video that ultimately jump started my channel.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My YouTube channel is ultimately a reflection of my failures, successes, growth and inspiration. I was solely known for entrepreneurship but it has now transitioned into wellness, slow living, and becoming the best version of yourself. I feel that I am now living in my purpose and sharing my experiences that will help so many people break through their limitations, live a better life and heal from their traumas. I love teaching people how to find financial abundance, find peace in their lives, and develop a healthier mindset. I want my little corner of the internet to be a safe space.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
One of the most rewarding aspects in what I do is receiving messages mentioning how I motivated them to take that risk and start their own business, or better themselves by going back to school. I love empowering people and showing them that they can absolutely turn their dreams into reality!
What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?
I think support can be made in many ways! Since my job is on social media, it helps so much whenever people share and engage with my content. Not only does it allow me to reach a new audience but it keeps the algorithm on my side so that I can continue to grow!
