Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Christina Dumas. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Christina , thanks for joining us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
I knew I wanted to pursue a creative path professionally when I smelled fresh clay for the first time at the local arts center. The room was well lit and a bit chilly. Natural light beckoned the pottery wheel, and for the first time I didn’t feel nervous. The touch of the cool clay cooled my soul and brought my heart to a happy place.
Painting was my favorite. We painted our secrets onto the clay, to be baked in the oven. I remember thinking how much love and care we are giving to this object of focus.
Mom still has that heart shaped box. When I realized the thing I love could provide inspiration to others, was the moment I knew I wanted to pursue an artistic path professionally.

Christina , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
When a good friend recommended taking my makeup artistry to the next level- professionally. How oils and massage techniques could change the chemistry of the skin I found fascinating. How even the food we eat structures the skin. I fell in love with peptides, and could talk about the science of skin forever.
Yoga was the saving Grace from addiction and a nasty eating disorder. Cruel voices transcended to loving eyes. Now I enjoy singing very much, and find purpose in working with people to recognize their own self worth.
I create auditory experiences for to relieve anxiety and sleep disturbances for inner beauty. What sets me apart is the perception I have of beauty. Infinite beauty is beyond barriers. Infinite beauty is the state of vitality, liberation, smiles, and contribution.
The Vitality Drop podcast released this month. I’m proud of the way the work came together. I have written books and recorded voiceovers, but this is the first thing I actually completed in series form.
I would like to invite readers to drop into YWC STUDIO- Live Streaming on weekday mornings from 7:30am-8:30am MST on YouTube. ASMR yoga open studio for work, flow, or just to tune in for the vibe.
I find that the silver lining in creative expression is the alchemy of it all. How each conscious (or unconscious) choice projects us towards somewhere. One of the greatest quotes of yoga, “where focus goes, energy flows” continues to guide choices to contribute to ultimate reality. With thoughts of infinite love, compassion, equanimity, and joy.
So what could it be?

Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
Management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy is inspired by Louise Hay, Tony Robbins, Les Brown and Christina Aguilera. Christina Aguilera’s voice taught me how to be strong. Louise Hay’s book You Can Heal Your Life taught me how to speak to myself with love. Les Brown taught me that drug addiction did not define my character unless I let it. Tony Robbins was a guiding voice in the morning, along my path. In 2019 I had the opportunity to attend Unleash The Power Within at the Los Angeles convention center. The experience changed my life, and I wanted to be that guiding light for others. My yoga teacher, Scott Nanamura and the Diamond Heart Yoga school. Yolanda Crowe with the Ohio State University was a great teacher of aesthetics and shined light on the value of my work, and so I believed it was valuable.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
For a long time I didn’t feed my body and mind well. Toxins were tasty, and I didn’t like this place called earth very much. The body I was given was a problem and the mind, an enemy.
Today, I can say that I feed my body well. Toxins are not appealing, rather the opposite- healing herbs illuminate my body and mind. I enjoy the space I am at now because of all the ugly of past mistakes. Because without the ugly, there would be no beauty. Mistakes are not life or death, but a chance to redirect, and get back on the path. This is where gratitude comes in.
I found the deciding factor in living a life of mediocrity and a purposeful life comes down to what you are grateful for in this moment of time.
