I can recall a customer telling me how my gloss saved their life after not having any moisture on their lip all day and they had to run to the car to grab my clear glaze lipgloss.

Christina, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I’m Christina Benoit, born and raised in Miami, FL. My business is called C.Beauty Cosmetics which came about in a dorm room after having a conversation with my best friend. Complaining about how glosses were too thick, sticky and didn’t moisturize my lips, I decided to start making my own gloss in college as a side hustle.

My brand is about knowing that it starts with YOU to SEE the TRUE beauty WITHIN yourself. My lipglosses and sugar scrubs are all natural and handmade. Using oils like almond oil, argan oil, vitamin e oil, brown sugar, honey and more…

Currently, I’m most proud of sticking to natural products and attending pop up shops monthly. I love being able to interact with my customers and hearing their stories. I want them to know that they fuel me to keep going with my business especially when they give me feedback on my products because I’m always looking for ways to improve myself in my business!

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?

Conducting my first small business pop-up shop on May 6, 2023; was a new start of growing my clientele in Miami, FL. I began attending local pop-up shops in the community that has brung me consistent customers. Collaborating with Taste of Perrine, DivasInPumps and more.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

Social media can really bring your business to a new level. I’m currently finding new ways to better engage with my audience and make my content eye-catching. My advice for someone trying to build their social media audience; is to be disciplined and consistent with your post. Try interacting with your audience on Instagram using reels and posting videos on TikTok. Find your authentic or unique way of grabbing your viewers attention and watch how your platform grows.
