Hi Christina, thanks for joining us today. So, let’s start with trends – what are some of the largest or more impactful trends you are seeing in the industry?
When I first started doing lashes, 11 years ago, the mission of eyelash extensions, was a replacement for mascara. It was one of the top beauty secrets, when eyelash extensions are done at its finest you can’t even tell that they are fake. However, that’s not the case anymore. I want to say almost overnight the Lash industry blew up, There is so many styles and trends nowadays. A few I can’t stand our the little decals, such as butterflies, little stars, little diamonds… ext and my biggest pet peeve of them all is eyelash extensions that are over 20mm lash People will understand this verbiage. But for the rest of you, Mudbloods. That just means they are really really long, which will damage your natural lashes. A few of my favorite trends are the “anime look” and the” fox eye look “ i wish i knew about these years ago!

Can you talk to us about manufacturing? How’d you figure it all out? We’d love to hear the story.
I started manufacturing products during the beginning of coronavirus. When we were locked down, I created a lipgloss line which consisted of five different shades, I also created a lash wash and eyelash strips in two different styles. The biggest challenge in manufacturing products is finding the right vendor they send you samples that you have to pay for and some of them aren’t worth the money! Until you find the right one. For me, the best part of the whole process was having a vision in my head of what I wanted these things to look like, and then at one point, physically, being able to hold them in my hands was kind of magical! What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
When I first started, yelp was the original source of clients finding me nowadays that source is Instagram and Google.
