Alright, Christie thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
How White Stork & Co. Was Born
Before opening White Stork & Co. in 2019, I had been a newborn and family photographer for seven years. I spent my days capturing the most tender moments for growing families—but over time, I began to feel a pull to do something more. I wanted to create a space where the connection between parent and baby could begin even earlier. A place that felt warm, luxurious, and deeply meaningful.
The idea for White Stork came from a very real gap I noticed during my own pregnancies and while working with so many expectant mothers. Most moms only receive one or two ultrasounds throughout their entire pregnancy—and that’s simply not enough for many. There’s such a deep desire to bond, to connect, to see your baby more often. And for many, those little glimpses are everything. Elective ultrasounds, especially 4D imaging, offer something magical: the chance to really see your baby’s face, their expressions, and their features before they’re even born.
What excited me most was the idea of taking that incredible emotional moment—and elevating it. Why not make it beautiful? Why not create an environment that felt luxurious and comforting, where moms could feel safe, celebrated, and completely cared for? At the time, there wasn’t anything like that out there, and I knew in my gut it would work.
Combining that with my photography studio was a natural fit. Families could come to us early in their journey and stay with us through all the milestones—from the first heartbeat to newborn portraits to family heirlooms on their walls. We’ve created lasting relationships with our clients, and that’s been the most rewarding part.
And now, six years later, I’ve just launched White Stork & Co. as a franchise. I’m so excited to share this opportunity with others who are looking for a fulfilling and beautiful business of their own—one that’s changing lives and celebrating life every day.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I’ve always been a deeply visual and creative person—drawn to the beauty of storytelling through images and experiences. My journey into this industry began with newborn and family photography, a path I followed for over seven years before launching White Stork & Co. in 2019. During that time, I fell in love with the process of capturing life’s most tender and fleeting moments. But I also began to see a bigger picture—one where I could help families connect even earlier in their journey.
White Stork & Co. is more than just a studio—it’s a place where expecting families come to bond with their babies in a way that’s emotional, visual, and unforgettable. From early DNA gender tests to breathtaking 4D ultrasounds, maternity and newborn photography, and custom keepsakes, everything we offer is designed to celebrate life, love, and family. It’s not just about seeing a baby on the screen—it’s about creating a joyful, luxurious experience that parents will remember forever.
What sets us apart is the atmosphere we’ve created. Most ultrasound studios feel clinical—but White Stork was built to feel like a boutique haven. Our clients walk into a space that feels warm, high-end, and welcoming. We’ve combined stunning visuals with heartfelt service, and that’s where the magic happens.
I’m most proud of the relationships we build. So many of our clients return again and again through each pregnancy—and many become lifelong friends. That’s the heart of this business: connection.
If there’s one thing I’d love potential clients to know, it’s that White Stork & Co. was created with genuine care. I’m passionate about what I do, and I pour that same passion into every experience we provide. Whether you’re coming in for an ultrasound, a photo session, or to explore franchise ownership, you’ll always be treated like family.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
What Built Our Reputation
I truly believe our reputation has been built on an unwavering commitment to exceptional service and high standards. From the very beginning, I knew that if we focused on treating every client like family—genuinely seen, heard, and cared for—we’d create something really special.
Customer service is everything in our business. Every interaction, every appointment, every detail is intentional. We go above and beyond to make sure each family feels appreciated, supported, and celebrated. That means creating a beautiful, welcoming space, hiring the right team members who share our heart for service, and holding ourselves to the highest standard—both in the quality of our work and the way we make people feel.
I think people can sense when a business truly cares, and that’s helped us stand out in a really meaningful way. Word of mouth, glowing reviews, and returning families have all helped build our reputation, but it starts with consistently showing up and delivering an experience we’re proud of.

How do you keep your team’s morale high?
Advice for Managing a Team & Keeping Morale High
It all starts with hiring the right people. I always look for team members who are genuinely passionate about the work we do—people who truly care about our clients, our mission, and the experience we’re creating. When your team believes in the heart of the business, morale tends to stay naturally high because they love what they do.
But great leadership doesn’t stop at hiring. It’s so important to build real relationships with your team. I make it a priority to check in regularly, to listen, and to create an environment where they feel supported and comfortable coming to me. I also believe in celebrating the wins—big and small. Whether it’s offering praise in the moment, writing a thank-you note, or throwing a holiday party or team event, those things matter. They create a culture of appreciation and belonging.
When your team feels seen, valued, and connected—not just as employees, but as people—that’s when the magic happens.
