We recently connected with Christian Madrid and have shared our conversation below.
Christian, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Do you manage your own social media?
Over the past few months, I’ve transitioned from being a solo freelancer making cool videos to building a full-scale content agency that helps businesses attract more customers and increase traffic with high-converting content.
Through this process, I realized that most businesses know the value of content but struggle to create it correctly and use it effectively. Social media and an online presence are powerful tools when leveraged correctly, and that’s where strategy and marketing come in. We mastered the art of strategic content creation and, shortly after, the marketing was responsible for converting views into real revenue. Those two things are the key to scaling any business online, and that’s exactly what we do.
I evolved Madrids Media from a ‘cool video’ brand into Madrids Media & Marketing—an agency designed to turn online views into loyal customers.
Business owners shouldn’t be stuck worrying about things they don’t have the time or expertise for. They should be focused on running their business while we bring in more traffic and boost revenue through converting content.
If a business owner asked me what to do, either manage their own social media or hire an agency, i’d simply ask them this: If you had the opportunity to run a Super Bowl halftime ad for your business, would you try to film and edit it yourself—or would you trust an expert to make sure it’s done right?

Christian, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My name is Christian Madrid, I started creating videos as a hobby which quickly turned into a career. I started off documenting my trips to car meets with my friends all around NJ. Those mini vlogs turned into paid shoots for birthdays or special events. I then found myself focused in the music industry recording music videos and taking cool photos of artists. I captured big artists like 50 Cent, Ne-Yo, Maluma, J-Balvin and many more. I spent a few years in that niche and took advantage of the cool lifestyle; going on tour; flying around the world, etc. Eventually I realized something: cool videos and a celebrity lifestyle don’t build long-term success.
My cousin has a degree in coding, his brother in marketing, and I have one in media. We realized we had the perfect mix of skills to build something bigger. We put it together and built an agency that helps businesses grow through content and strategy.
That’s when I saw the bigger picture. We had everything we needed to build something bigger—so we did. We now take the stress of social media off business owners’ plates and turn it into a real growth machine—more customers, more revenue, more results. We’re not just here to make content look good; we’re here to make it work.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
My social media audience start off with just the people I knew from high school. In College I build relationships with like-minded individuals, these people were like my backbone. We bounced ideas off each other, and motivated each other simply by demonstrating each others work ethic.. This is how I learned that networking and having a good reputation are super important. To this day, I am happy to say most of my clients come from referrals. This makes me happy because it means our clients are satisfied enough to spread the word and have their piers benefit from our services. I enter every conversation with confidence knowing the person I’m speaking to has never heard a bad review about me or my business.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
My biggest pivot in life happened recently when my good friend Jonathan Anwar asked me a simple but powerful question: ‘Do you want to build a business or an artist?’ That question stuck with me for weeks.
For years, everything I built in the music industry was about growing my brand as a creative—being the go-to guy for cool, high-quality content. And for a long time, I was good with that. But when I started thinking long-term, my mindset shifted.
I took a hard look at the difference between building a personal brand and building a real business. By the end of 2024, I knew it was time for something bigger. I entered the new year with a new model—a full-scale content agency designed to help businesses turn content into actual revenue.
That one question changed everything.
