While obtaining a loan for a new home may seem as simple as buying a new pair of blue shoes, the guidance, structure, and financial planning portion of buying a home is often overlooked. What tends to be the focus of mortgage shopping is the Interest rates and Fees, when much more money can be saved or grown by proper structure, leverage, and management.
Our mission is to treat each home as a wealth-generation machine. With a focus on not just the initial purchase loan, but through strategic long-term planning. After all – it is a 30-year mortgage!

Most relationships with Loan Consultants stop at the time of closing (when you get the keys!). Ours just starts! We not only monitor our clients’ current loan structure, but also their home value, market opportunities, and opportunities to multiply the investment through future leverage. We often work with Financial Planners, CPA’s and agents on how to grow wealth through all our clients’ asset classes in a way that best serves them in the long run.

A relationship with your mortgage wealth planner should not end because you’ve started the journey, it should begin!

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I got my start in the mortgage industry 20+ years ago! I worked for a company housed out of a one-bedroom apartment and learned the business by “failing forward.” I was terrible at the job but every day after work I would get in the car, turn off the radio and think about what I did wrong that day, how I could have done things differently, and how I could do better the next day! Each day I wanted to find ways to improve. Now, I have put in over 10,000 hours in the business and I have become one of the Top Producing Loan Officers in Dallas and am in the Top 1% Producing Loan Officers in the Country! I’m humbled every day to have come this far.

As the Senior Vice President of the Park Cities Branch of Guaranteed Rate, I spend most of my days fostering relationships with customers who are looking to purchase a home, real estate agents who are incredible referral partners in the home loan process, and maintaining high-touch personal service for both clients and partners throughout the home loan process. I am very proud of our ‘Perfect Loan Process’, the speed, technology, and my team that helps us provide that local, boutique service that shows we really care. I love building relationships with customers and giving them that personal service you just can’t get with an online mortgage company.

Just like your doctor, financial planner, and attorney, we become your “Go-To-Guy” when it comes to all things mortgage!

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

Consistently producing a quality product, being considerate of every client’s needs on an individual basis, and finding unique solutions to hurdles that many of us might face while buying a home. We take the stress and guesswork out of the home loan process – we understand that the journey to home comes with a lot of unpredictability so we are always walking side-by-side with you to make a plan.

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?

We’ve always believed that the relationship begins at the closing table when our clients are buying or refinancing their homes. This is where we separate ourselves from our competition. We continually monitor our clients’ loans, we look for opportunities to improve their situation, and we track the value of their home, the balance on their loan, their equity, and their financial standing at regular intervals. We are in contact with our clients and we discuss opportunities as they mature in their homeownership journey.
