Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
My family has been a significant influence in shaping my journey, as we come from a long line of entrepreneurs. I am fortunate to have parents who have consistently encouraged my siblings and I to pursue our dreams and too use our gifts that GOD has blessed us with. My older brother, Tommy Curtis III, known professionally as “Treyo,” has garnered significant recognition as a three-time BILLBOARD Music Producer. Likewise, my younger sister, a remarkable pastry chef at just 13 years old, showcases her culinary skills!
From a young age, we were immersed in the world of business and entrepreneurship. As early as the age of seven, I was entrusted with running the cash register at my grandmother’s family business, which neighbored our parents’ enterprise. In addition to diligently promoting my mother’s products, my siblings and I embarked on entrepreneurial ventures of our own, such as selling bracelets during our early years.
Growing up in an environment teeming with enterprising minds has undoubtedly left an indelible mark on my career trajectory. The lessons learned from observing and participating in various business endeavors have instilled in me a deep appreciation for the art of entrepreneurship. I am grateful for the valuable experiences and influence that have shaped me into the driven individual I am today.
