We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Christa Riley a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Christa, thanks for joining us today. Alright, so you had your idea and then what happened? Can you walk us through the story of how you went from just an idea to executing on the idea
Launching your photography brand comes from concept. Are you fashion, family, wedding, conceptual art, etc. From there, find wow factors. Is it angles, lighting, interesting ways to pose wedding parties, and so on. When you find a way to become yourself and create what is still your artistic view within photography, you’ll find that most others will see exactly what you do as well. Never be afraid to take risks, to have fun, and most importantly, never lose sight of who you are.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I began as a model who transitioned into photography. I work with dancers, models, families, I also photograph conceptual art, landscapes, cityscapes, nature and wildlife.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
These days, yes, algorithms matter. You truly need to reference these and make posts to suit algorithms. Followers will come as you learn more about how to post and what to post. Most professionals suggest to research the best ways to post on media for successful ratings and views.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Experience comes with a great deal of practice and then more practice. Truly, learning never ends.
