Christa, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. If you had a defining moment that you feel really changed the trajectory of your career, we’d love to hear the story and details.
For years, I thrived on a vegan lifestyle. I even stepped on stage eight times as a vegan bodybuilder. I thought the obvious path was to coach others on macros and muscles like every other fitness coach, but deep down I was always more fascinated by the micros that fuel our energy.
Then came November of 2021. I got really sick with COVID, bounced back… or so I thought. I even competed in two more shows. But soon after, my health collapsed. I was hit with debilitating fatigue and bizarre symptoms, yet every lab test came back “normal.” It felt like my body had been hijacked. My confidence in my lifestyle plummeted. Had the naysayers been right all along?
I refused to accept that answer. I dug deep, studied nutrition beyond the usual talking points, and learned how to read my own bloodwork in ways most doctors never bother with. That’s when I discovered I wasn’t just “tired”, I was battling an undiagnosed chronic infection: Lyme disease.
That was my defining moment. I realized that all the kale in the world can’t make us invincible. Real health means understanding cellular energy, minerals, and how to work with our bodies to outsmart fatigue in today’s modern toxic world.
Today, my energy is back, my confidence is stronger than ever, and I’m passionate about helping other plant-based people who feel like giving up. Too many are told “you can’t heal” or pressured to abandon their lifestyle. I’m living proof that you can thrive on plants, if you learn how to outsmart fatigue.
Minerals are one of the most overlooked keys to energy, and “normal” bloodwork can actually hide clues about fatigue. This is exactly what inspired the program I am creating.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’ve spent 18 years thriving on a vegan lifestyle and even competed on stage eight times as a vegan bodybuilder. I have been raising a healthy teenage son, a vegan since birth. My background is in plant-based nutrition, but what really set my path was my own health collapse. After a post-COVID battle with debilitating fatigue and later discovering I was fighting Lyme disease, I realized there was a huge gap in support for plant-based people struggling with energy. Too often they’re told they “can’t heal” or pressured to abandon their lifestyle.
That experience inspired me to create my practice. I help vegans and plant-based enthusiasts outsmart fatigue by using functional bloodwork analysis, mineral balancing, and practical protocols to restore cellular energy. My approach goes beyond calories and macros to uncover the overlooked clues in “normal” blood labs that often hide the real reason people feel exhausted.
What sets me apart is that I don’t ask people to give up the lifestyle they love. Instead, I show them how to see beyond the narrative and that they aren’t alone. There are reasons (some beyond our control) in this modern toxic world making us exhausted. But we can heal without abandoning our lifestyle. We deserve to be seen, heard and heal with support. I’m most proud of being living proof that you can recover your energy and confidence while staying plant-based. My work is about giving clarity, hope, and tools to those who are sick of being tired and dismissed.

Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?
To become a successful vegan bodybuilder, I had to overcome the little voice in the back of my mind parroting the narrative, saying it can’t be done. I found someone who was successful at that time as a vegan bodybuilder and focused on that person. I told myself, If they can do it, I can do it too. I had to ignore the naysayers. If someone wants to heal and remain plant-based, I would love to be the person they look to and tell themself, if she can do it, I can too. The most helpful thing is to keep intention on the desired outcome.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
Declaring myself the CEO of my own health, having a plant-based foundation and practicing patience and non-resistance on my journey to healing Lyme and fatigue, restored my health faster than most affected with the disease. I am sad when I see others who have felt miserable for years, sometimes decades. Having deep gratitude for the knowledge I was shown and my resilience, gives me inspiration to share what I have learned, so I may help those who are willing to heal.
