Chrissy, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear the story of how you went from this being just an idea to making it into something real.

ChrissyAssistance started amongst a conversation between friends, I always loved solving problems because I detested conflict. I worked in Customer Service for credit and the food industry for years, So learning how to appease people with limited options was a skill I had mastered. I was tired for working for corporate businesses that didn’t fit my schedule needs as a single mother. I was modeling for a couple of years, as much as I enjoyed being in front of the camera, I loved the prep work to getting to the camera. My first client was from ATL, “playworld_visions. He is a videographer, photographer, and clothing designer. He made a post on his Instagram that he needed an assistant. We immediately click from our first call and I helped bring awareness to his brand and assisted with his social media and posting content for him. His trust in me gave me the push to put myself out there and offer my services to more people. I have worked with Restaurants, Credit Repair specialist, Hair Stylist and vendors.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

I am a single mom who loves to dance, model, and helping people get organize within their business. I was born in Hayward, California and raised in Wyandotte County. My careers have focused on customer service and problem resolution for major corporate business from the food industry to managing people credit cards accounts. ChrissyAssistance offers Admin support for entrepreneurs who need to manage their calendars, social media sites, setting appointments and even tracking finances. I also offer customer care support, this includes handling inventory, inbound and outbound communications inquiries. My business focuses on business etiquette and making sure that your money is working for you and at the end of our time together you can run your business smoothly. If you are local. I offer event management and in-person assistant services as well. My clients know that they are getting someone who is their partner and believes in their brand and image just as much, if not more than they do. Providing excellent confidentiality and they can know when they put me in the room, I represent everything they want to embody as a business owner. I am constantly learning as an assistant, hiring a support person is not something anyone should take lightly which is why I pride myself an accuracy and efficient work at all times.

Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative?

The goal when working with me is to automate and make your money work for you regardless if we are together long-term or short-term. I focus on creating relationships with you to better enhance your brand. A lot of people can confuse assistants as brand managers or owners, when in reality we bridge the gap of communication for you to be able to reach those individuals that set you up for success. The key to elevating and growing is learning to delegate tasks and focus on adding to your company for multiple sources of income. When you hire an assistant, they do the research and create a dynamic for you to continue to grow.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

Social media and word of mouth has been the best source for my clientele, one thing I have learned is that your business should be your dream and you should work with the people you want to work with. Each of my clients never knew who I was before, so selling myself as a person and researching their brands always attracts them even more. I love organic relationships and my clients have to appreciate keeping a line of communication open for us to be successful.
