We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Chris Salazar. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Chris below.
Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative?
It’s always hard to explain to somebody what you truly want to do, especially in this society where everything is so fast paced. I think if anybody questions your dreams they just have to understand that everything takes time. Van Gogh died broke and now his paintings are worth millions, so it’s all a process nothing is for certain when it comes to your success but if you keep trying and don’t give up and just keep perfecting your craft it will come.
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
There has been many times where I had to look back and see what’s best for my life. That’s for everybody there is going to be times when you are doubting what your doing, I had to pivot from the street life and really focus on doing bigger. We all go through trials and tribulations but it’s about the decisions you make to either make yourself stronger from that or keep spinning in circles.
