We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Chris Loos. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Chris below.
Hi Chris, thanks for joining us today. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
Building the iDream Society with my friends Monique & Jay has been one of my life’s most meaningful endeavors.
Empowering young artists is what we do, and the iDream Art Collective is our latest initiative that demonstrates it best.
We’re granting an unorthodox scholarship for High School & College entrepreneurs a here in the San Gabriel valley.
Their brand, art, or product will be featured prominently for 3months on our iDream Art Collective rack inside UNDS Los Angeles in Monrovia, CA.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Chris Loos, born in Pasadena, California, is a respected music business professional with a career spanning over 30 years. With a focus on community and a dedication to seeing young people succeed,
Chris has made notable contributions to both the radio industry and society at large. While Loos pursued telecommunications studies at Pasadena City college, his true passion and talent lies in the realm of music, and broadcast.
Notable among his achievements is normalizing radio interviews with artists on Youtube. He did that first. He also played a pivotal role in the successful relaunch of the iconic radio station Kday in Los Angeles on the FM dial.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Loos is an avid community activist, driven by his unwavering commitment to see young people thrive.
He dedicates his time and efforts to championing their success and creating opportunities for growth.
Recognizing the power of media as a tool for empowerment, Loos’ most notable contributions to his community is the establishment of the iDream Society, a non-profit organization aimed at fostering the dreams of aspiring artists and entrepreneurs.
Through this initiative, he actively builds resources and opportunities, helping individuals unlock their full potential.
Additionally, he volunteers at the local public access station, Kgem-TV, utilizing it as a vehicle to amplify community voices and foster positive change.
Embodying his life philosophy, “Be what you’d like to see in this world,” Loos strives to lead by example, inspiring others to be agents of positive transformation.
His unwavering dedication to the music industry and his relentless efforts to empower communities have made him a true champion and an invaluable asset to those around him.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
I’ve been in this industry long enough to see what works, and what doesn’t. Who’s “hot” is gonna change faster than you scroll thru your tiktok feed.
I’m inspired by things that are authentic, and not standard. New thoughts, and fresh approaches are so dope.
Creating authentically is what has me jumping out of bed every morning
Any resources you can share with us that might be helpful to other creatives?
I wish I was brave enough to ask folks more questions as a young creative.
There are so many resources available.
Don’t get caught in the hype of needing to use what the “industry” uses.
Use what works for you, and ask google to help you find the resources you need.
If what you’re creating is dope, nobody’s gonna care about the hardware, software, paint, or spray can that you used.
