We recently connected with Chris Jehnert and have shared our conversation below.

Chris, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?

I think one of my most meaningful projects I’ve worked on is my First EP! It was the first project I created. I’ve had such a pleasure bringing other peoples characters and words to life, but there was something very personal, It was like letting my journal entries be read to an audience and so it feels so personal to me, Also the undertaking of an album takes so much planning, time, money, and patience, so when we finished the EP, It meant a lot to me.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

My name is Chris Jehnert, I started singing and acting as a child, on my own, or with my friends as a means of expression and escapism! As I grew up it became a piece of my life that I don’t think will ever change. I have been so extremely lucky that my hard work has led me to a life where I can call it my career! I’d say that the risk of pursuing a career in this industry is a vast one, but persistence seems to truly be key, and the adaptability of curveballs that come your way, and understanding that in this specific world, Sometimes you end up in a spot where you’re not working or creating, but it never makes you less of the artist you are.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

My goal is truly just to get the best experience I can from life! I personally feel that happiness and experience are the greatest things we can hold on to, and it’s very easy in our time to take the life we have and just get by on the things we need to do to survive. I tried to turn my passions and the things that bring me joy and fulfillment into that survival job! I’ve been lucky enough to make that work, and even in times when I have had to struggle to make ends meet, I’ve always found myself happier still being able to access my passions

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

I mean as far as clients, I guess that would mean fans, in a sense! The best way I’ve found is just through the performances themselves, Anytime a film comes out or I do a concert, its an opportunity for someone to possibly like what they’ve seen or heard enough to look for more!
