Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Chris Huff. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Chris, appreciate you joining us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in this field when I was around maybe 10 years old. Making people laugh is therapy for me. I’m able to set aside whatever i’m going through in my personal life to help someone else. I could be at my lowest point and I am able to help someone else feel better through laughter.

Chris, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I remember watching Martin Lawrence on his TV show when I was little. What he was able to do, I laughed every episode, non stop. Then when I watched him on Def Jam hosting I said wow, I want to be able to do this. So I started writing in Elementary school. I’ve always had a big imagination. I provide hosting and stand up that is family friendly. I want the whole family to be able to laugh and also not have to worry about your kids getting in trouble for repeating anything they’ve heard me say.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
I want to create a legacy for my kids and eventually my grandkids. I want them to be able to say “that’s my dad”. I want the WHOLE family from the youngest to the oldest to be able to be comfortable at my show and say “that’s my favorite comedian”

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
I’ve bombed before. But I keep growing, didn’t give up, I got better. It would have been easy to walk away, it’s difficult to pick yourself back up and to keep going.
