Chris, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. So, naming is such a challenge. How did you come up with the name of your brand?
The name “Let’s Cook Video Editing Service” came to us organically. Anchoring and reflecting our core values and approach. = Make GOOD edits, together.
Editing makes or breaks any story = aka sales = reflecting attention span. What you show, How you show, matters to the customer.
The phrase began during a trip to Las Vegas, I was cutting a video about the trip, in a spontaneous moment of creative expression, the tagline “Let’s Cook” was added over visuals of opening a laptop.
Slang for “let’s make something awesome.”
With a deep love for cooking, media my passion, we marinated and meditated on it for a hot minute.
It stuck. Here’s why: “Let’s” = embodies collaboration and togetherness, while “Cook” signifies the act of creating, indulging, and sharing together.
“Let’s Cook” hooked us!
This simple phrase encapsulated our vision perfectly.
It resonates with the authentic camaraderie we have as a team, inspired by my early experiences in skateboarding, where we learned to care for one another deeply, it was community.
We’re all in this together. The name “Let’s Cook” extends beyond video editing, symbolizing our innovative approach to the industry. We don’t associate with the term “post production”. The word production is heavy. weighted. laggy. Everything AND the kitchen sink. – We make videos. Our systems are light and hyper fast.
Filming a video requires more time than Let’s Cook’s editing process. – Fact.
