We recently connected with Chris Gormley and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Chris thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Naming anything – including a business – is so hard. Right? What’s the story behind how you came up with the name of your brand?
I’m very passionate about networking with others. Also, if you break down the word network, you get “net” and “work”. I’m also very passionate about working hard and netting profits out of life. Example: if you work hard and neglect your family, what are you really “netting” out of life?

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I got into real estate investing because I’ve always been passionate about real estate, and had a general idea of everything that encompasses real estate. Once I figured out how to come in on the investor side, I started flipping houses and wholesaling as a way to get me further into the investment side of things. Six months in, I got my chance of being a developer on a pretty large project.
The problems I solve are providing housing and improving local markets as well as helping people put their money to work to earn above average returns, compared to saving it in a bank or dealing with the volatility of the stock market and other volatile investment vehicles.
What I am most proud of is being able to help people grow their wealth through investing, providing opportunities to everybody involved in a real estate deal and lastly, providing finished products that will ultimately make somebody’s home. I want people to know me for who I am and the core values that I bring to my company. I don’t think inside the box, I believe in old school hard work, I believe in putting others first and having a fun, positive and abundant mindset while doing it.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
Authenticity and good intentions, hands down. If you don’t stand for something, you stand for nothing. I think having the personality where I won’t be for everybody but ultimately, I will attract the people that I’m supposed to, helped me build a very loyal following even though I don’t have a large social media following. I also know that everything I post or say comes with good intentions and wanting to help people be the best that they can be.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
I started my company just a few short weeks before I left my career in medical sales. It was the scariest thing that I ever did and I knew that I would have some tough financial times ahead, but I also knew that if I had the comfort of my career, I would not grow my businesses as urgently as I should. Ultimately, it’s not something everybody should do, but it is something that I decided to do. I pulled out money from my 401(k) to find my first two deals, and never looked back.
