Hi Chris, thanks for joining us today. Let’s jump into the story of starting your own firm – what should we know?

Starting from beginning, I’ve always had a dream to own my own company one day, big or small. I would work full time at jobs that i just didn’t feel like i was fully there both mentally and physically, i always had this voice in the back of my mind telling me that i should be doing something more with the time I’ve been given, i would be pointing things out that i would be doing different if it were my company. When it came time to take my leap of faith i knew first thing that i had to get my name out before i even opened for business, marketing is the main key to success for most business and for three months me and my team spent countless hours handing out flyers, business cards and promoting on all major social media sites. We built an audience prior to opening and once the doors opened we had a clientele ready to give us a shot! If i would change anything before starting all of this, i would’ve started much sooner! And for anyone barely starting and lifting theur business from the ground, don’t give up and keep believing in yourself! Its a marathon, not a sprint.

We are Dr. Detail Mobile Wash LLC located in Humble Tx, and we provide a top of the line mobile detail service for any kind of vehicle, boats and planes! We bring the detail to your door step with a very well trained team of detailers! If your looking for your average car wash, than we are probably not the company for you, we take our time with each detail assuring everyone gets a one of the kind experience! I, my self have always had a high passion for cars, from classic to modern exotics! I just cant truly get enough, its a pleasure to wake up and be around such high end vehicles every day that this world has to offer! I have to say what I’m most proud about is our reputation we have earned from our community, the great and kind feedback is what keeps me pushing us to the next level! If your ever feeling un easy about someone else touching your prize possession, let us put you at ease! We treat every vehicle like our life depends on it!

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

Two best theory’s that i believe helped is being reasonable with prices and customer service satisfaction! We charge what WE think is fair, if our self’s wouldn’t pay for it why would we charge our clients an absurd number. The most important factor though is attitude, never let your attitude turn people away, if your having a hard time with your personal life you have to learn to not let it interfere with your business life! Its crucial to wake up and greet everyone with a smile and can do attitude! And if you get a bad apple ( which you will ) don’t let them taint your heart or mind, keep pushing and just thank them for their time!

Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?

One of the biggest risk i have taken to date was starting my own business, the pandemic just started and jobs were laying thousands of workers off, i was working full time at a oil field job that had 80 hours a week. Than dropped down to 60, 40, 30 and then 20. After being laid off i looked for work for a month and never got a call back, i took this as a sign from above and fulfilled my dream! I took a good portion of my savings and started my business! with my mind going crazy about rather its a good idea or not and what happens if it goes bad. But i thought to my self, what happens if it goes good? Fast forward two years later and it was the best decision i made.
