We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Chris Cisneros. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Chris below.
Chris, appreciate you joining us today. When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?
The first time I knew I wanted to DJ and produce professionally was when I got my first DJ board at 13 years old. The feeling of mixing music and truly connecting with it was unexplainable. Growing up around electronic music my whole life finally came together in that moment. Once I realized how much I loved DJing, I knew the next step was producing my own music and that’s when I started making tracks.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
It all began when I started making music at 15. Back then, I created a track that caught the attention of big artists and started gaining recognition in the industry. As a high school kid from Jersey, balancing music with the pressure of committing to college was tough, but I did my best to stay relevant while exploring different subgenres of EDM.
Over the years, I’ve DJed across NJ, NYC, PA, and even cities like Miami and LA. Everything shifted in 2023 when I released a track that redefined my sound, Ritmo. The song gained traction with major house artists like Gordo, Acraze, Lost Frequencies, and many more. One of the biggest moments of my career so far was hearing it played live at Coachella in the Yuma tent an unforgettable experience.
Looking back, I’ve realized how easy it is to get lost in the industry. Too many artists chase fame or money and lose sight of why they started. I’ve stopped focusing on the superficial and refocused on what truly matters: inspiring people with my music. For me, it’s about giving listeners a piece of my art something they can feel.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
For me, the most rewarding feeling is knowing that someone listens to my music and genuinely connects with it..Whether it gives them a moment to have fun or helps them reflect on what they’re going through.
Have you ever had to pivot?
At some point, I realized I had to step back from the superficial side of the industry. Chasing hits and clout wasn’t what I wanted anymore. It took me away from why I started making music in the first place. Now, I just focus on creating and enjoying the process. If my music connects with even one person, that’s enough. That’s the part that truly matters to me.
