Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Chris B. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Chris thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Have you been able to earn a full-time living from your creative work? If so, can you walk us through your journey and how you made it happen? Was it like that from day one? If not, what were some of the major steps and milestones and do you think you could have sped up the process somehow knowing what you know now?
Yes — but it didn’t happen overnight, and it definitely wasn’t easy. My journey started with nothing. Literally nothing. I didn’t have formal schooling — I didn’t even graduate middle school — and I didn’t have anyone handing me connections, money, or a safety net. What I did have was drive, curiosity, and an unshakable belief that I was meant for more. I taught myself everything from scratch — music production, writing, directing, editing, branding, promotion, even business strategy. Every skill I have today was built one lesson, one late night, one mistake at a time.
In the beginning, it wasn’t about making a living — it was about survival and self-belief. I worked on whatever I could, often for free, just to get my name out there and sharpen my craft. I learned how to record music in makeshift studios, shoot videos with borrowed cameras, and market myself on social media when nobody was paying attention. I didn’t wait for permission — I just kept creating.
As the years went on, small wins turned into bigger ones. I released over 100 songs, gained millions of views, and started landing my work on platforms like Tubi and Roku. I became verified on major music platforms and started attracting an audience that connected with my authenticity. But just as I was gaining traction, I was hit with challenges — digital suppression, betrayal from people I trusted, and a constant wave of negativity from those who didn’t want to see me win. I learned quickly that success doesn’t come without resistance.
The turning point was when I stopped trying to fit into everyone else’s system and built my own. I invested in myself, created my own opportunities, and built a brand that couldn’t be ignored. And somewhere along that journey, I met Haylee — the love of my life and my partner in every sense of the word. Together, we took what I had been building and turned it into a power couple brand — one that blends music, film, fashion, and influence into something unique. We’ve produced original films, launched creative projects, collaborated with major outlets, and built a lifestyle brand rooted in independence and impact.
It wasn’t day one. It wasn’t year one. It took years of sacrifice, risk, and trial-and-error to turn my creative passion into a full-time living. Could I have sped it up knowing what I know now? Maybe — but honestly, the lessons I learned in the struggle are what gave me the wisdom, grit, and resilience to sustain it. Fast success fades. Built-from-the-ground-up success lasts.
So yes — today, I live fully off my creative work. But I’m here because I refused to quit, even when it felt like everything was stacked against me. And that’s the biggest lesson: you can make your dreams your reality, but you’ve got to be willing to fight for them every single day.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Christopher Anthony Berry — most people know me as Chris B. I’m a musician, filmmaker, actor, director, producer, writer, and entrepreneur who built everything from the ground up. I didn’t come from privilege, industry connections, or even formal education — in fact, I didn’t graduate middle school. Every skill I have today — from producing music, directing films, editing, scriptwriting, branding, to marketing — I taught myself. I learned through trial and error, late nights, and sheer determination.
I got into my industries — music, film, and entertainment — because I couldn’t imagine living any other life. I started with music, writing and producing songs with whatever equipment I could get my hands on. Over time, my creative ambitions grew. I wanted to tell stories visually, so I taught myself filmmaking. I directed, wrote, produced, and even starred in my own projects, releasing work on platforms like Tubi and Roku. My catalog now includes over 100 songs, multiple films, two published books, and a reality/comedy series filmed in Maine.
What I provide isn’t just “content” — it’s creative worlds. My work spans across multiple mediums:
• Music – Over 100 songs released, verified artist on Spotify and Apple Music.
• Film & TV – Director, writer, and lead actor in projects like The Berry Farm Chicken Cabin and The Lost Elf on Christmas.
• Books – Two published works sharing my journey and creative vision.
• Brand Building & Media – Collaborations, lifestyle branding, and creative campaigns.
The problems I solve for my audience and clients go deeper than just providing entertainment. I create stories, music, and visuals that connect emotionally and inspire action. Whether it’s showing people that they can overcome adversity, proving that you can start from nothing and build something unforgettable, or simply bringing a smile to someone’s face, my work is about impact.
What sets me apart is authenticity and independence. I’ve faced challenges most people never see — including years of digital suppression, betrayal, and people actively trying to erase my work — yet I’ve continued to push forward without selling out my vision. I own my brand, my projects, and my image. I’ve built my own opportunities instead of waiting for them to come.
I’m most proud of the fact that I never quit. I took what most would call disadvantages — no formal education, no industry connections, constant obstacles — and turned them into my greatest strengths. Along the way, I also found my wife, Haylee, and together we’ve built something even more powerful: a power couple brand blending music, film, fashion, and influence into a lifestyle movement.
What I want people to know about me and my brand is simple: We are proof that you can build your dreams from the ground up, even when the odds are against you. We don’t just create for the sake of creating — we create to inspire, to innovate, and to show others what’s possible when you refuse to give up.

It hasn’t been easy.
I’ve walked through storms most people wouldn’t survive — faced challenges that would break the average person. I’ve been betrayed by people I trusted, lied to by those I considered friends, and hated on simply for succeeding. But here’s the truth: success comes with battles. You either let them break you… or you fight back harder. I chose to fight — and I’m still standing.
Chris B’s story with Haylee Cook — Building an Empire Through Love, Grit, and Resilience
Chris B and Haylee Cook aren’t just partners in life — they’re partners in the fight, the dream, and the grind. Together, they’ve faced storms that could have easily broken most couples: betrayal from people they trusted, financial obstacles, the weight of public scrutiny, and the uphill climb of carving out their own place in industries that don’t always open doors for independent creators.
Instead of letting challenges divide them, they let them forge a bond that’s unshakable. Chris and Haylee became each other’s anchor — he, a visionary multi-hyphenate artist, and she, a rising model and actress who brings both beauty and strength to every project they touch. From long nights on set to early mornings building brand strategies, they’ve built their empire with nothing but determination, faith in each other, and a shared vision for greatness.
What sets them apart isn’t just their talent — it’s the way they turn every setback into a comeback, every “no” into a new opportunity. In a world where many couples struggle to balance love and ambition, Chris and Haylee prove that you can have both — if you’re willing to fight for it, together.
They aren’t just chasing dreams. They’re living proof that with love, loyalty, and relentless work ethic, a power couple can rewrite their own story — and inspire others to do the same.
Chris B — From the Ground Up
Chris B’s story isn’t one of shortcuts or lucky breaks — it’s one of grit, self-education, and an unshakable will to win. Starting at the very bottom with nothing, and without even graduating middle school, Chris taught himself everything he needed to know — from music production and filmmaking to branding and business. He faced drama, betrayal, and the constant pull of negative energy trying to drag him down. But instead of letting it break him, he used it as fuel.
Chris proved that when you block out the noise and stay focused, dreams aren’t just possible — they’re inevitable. Along the way, he didn’t just build a career; he built a life. He found the love of his life, Haylee, and together they turned their vision into something greater than either could have built alone — not just a brand, but a power couple brand that inspires others to fight for their passions, their partnerships, and their place in the world.
“You don’t have to wait for the industry to validate you. You can build your own brand, write your own story, and share it with the world. And if it’s honest — people will feel it.”
Chris B is living proof that success doesn’t have to look traditional. It just has to be real and authentic! Be yourself don’t try and be someone else! Stay original don’t just feed off trends others create! Be the trend.
How did you build your audience on social media?
Building my audience on social media was anything but overnight—it was a grind fueled by passion, persistence, and a deep commitment to authenticity. I started with a clear vision: to share my music, my films, and my story in a way that felt real and unfiltered. From day one, I focused on creating content that wasn’t just about self-promotion but about building genuine connections with people who resonated with my message.
I didn’t have a huge budget or fancy tools—I had raw creativity and a willingness to put myself out there, flaws and all. Consistency was key. I showed up every day, whether it was posting new music, behind-the-scenes footage, or personal stories. That constant presence helped me carve out a space where my audience knew they could find something original and honest.
Another big part of building my audience was embracing community. I engaged with fans, collaborated with other creators, and wasn’t afraid to experiment or take creative risks. Social media is a two-way street—when you listen and respond, you build trust and loyalty that lasts far beyond likes and follows.
For anyone just starting out, my biggest advice is: focus on authenticity over perfection. The algorithm changes, platforms come and go, but real connection is timeless. Tell your story honestly, stay consistent, and don’t be discouraged by slow growth. Success isn’t a moment—it’s a process. Keep creating, keep engaging, and remember why you started. Your audience will find you when you show up fully and unapologetically yourself.
Don’t let social media break you down. Criticism will come—and sometimes it’s harsh—but you have to control how it affects you. Don’t snap or let anger take over. Instead, take control of your emotions and stay focused on your vision. People will always try to belittle you, but their words don’t define your worth. Rise above it, keep your head clear, and keep moving forward.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
One of the most defining moments of my journey came during a period that tested me in ways I never expected — a long stretch of digital suppression that threatened to erase everything I had built. For years, my music, films, and verified online profiles were buried deep in search results or completely wiped from platforms where I had invested countless hours of work and creativity. It was as if someone was trying to silence me, to make my voice disappear in an industry that already feels impossible to break into.
At first, it was frustrating and heartbreaking. I put my heart and soul into every song, every film, every project, and to see it vanish felt like a personal attack. But instead of letting that silence defeat me, I chose to use it as a catalyst to push even harder. I started documenting every piece of evidence, every screenshot, every anomaly — not just for myself, but as proof that I wouldn’t let this go unnoticed.
During that time, I didn’t retreat. I doubled down on my craft. I kept creating music, writing scripts, producing films, and sharing my authentic self with my audience. I connected directly with my fans in new ways, building community without relying solely on algorithms or big platforms. I learned how to adapt and innovate, embracing the power of genuine connection over fleeting online trends.
This experience taught me that resilience isn’t just about bouncing back from setbacks — it’s about standing firm when the world tries to push you down. It’s about refusing to be erased, refusing to let external forces define your worth or your story. I learned to control my frustration, channel my anger into motivation, and to always keep my vision clear.
Most importantly, this chapter of my journey showed me that success isn’t just measured by numbers or views. It’s measured by the strength it takes to keep going, to keep believing in yourself even when the odds are stacked against you. No matter how many obstacles come your way, resilience means staying true to your passion and never giving up on the story you’re meant to tell.
One of the most defining moments of my journey came during a time filled with intense family drama and personal betrayal—experiences that tested me in ways I never expected. People I once trusted—family members and close friends—smiled in my face but stabbed me in the back. That kind of pain cuts deep and can easily break you, but I refused to let it define me or derail my path.
Instead, I turned that hurt into fuel for my creativity and healing. I poured my emotions into my music, my films, and ultimately into my documentary, The Story of Chris B. In that film, I expose the raw, unfiltered truth behind the struggles—the heartbreak, the lies, and the resilience it took to keep moving forward. Sharing my story so honestly was both cathartic and empowering, helping me reclaim my narrative and reminding myself and others that vulnerability is a source of strength.
Through it all, I stayed committed to my craft. I kept creating, writing, and producing while sharing my authentic self with my audience. I built genuine connections that went beyond superficial numbers or likes, embracing the power of real community.
This chapter of my life taught me that resilience isn’t just about bouncing back from setbacks — it’s about standing firm when the world tries to push you down. It’s about controlling your emotions, channeling anger into motivation, and keeping your vision clear despite the chaos around you.
Most importantly, success isn’t just measured by views or fame. It’s measured by the strength it takes to keep going, to believe in yourself, and to tell your story no matter what. No matter how many obstacles come your way, resilience means staying true to your passion and never giving up on the story you were meant to tell.
