Hi Chrain, thanks for joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

The story behind my mission. When I was growing up, I had the privilege of attending charm school. When I moved away to attend college, I saw so much with young women that burdened my heart. So I did something about it. That grew into being able to help young men and women, then added other services. My passion became my business and I love it!

Chrain, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

“You see a problem, create the solution!” That’s my motto. Walls of Wisdom, LLC was created to do just that. Growing up, I had the privilege of attending charm school. It did wonders for me, even years later. When I relocated to a new city to attend college, I saw a need that I wanted to help fill. Walls of Wisdom, LLC provides etiquette to girls, boys, women, and men of all ages. Etiquette for dining, dating, networking, and so much more. We also provide motivational speaking, as well as, editing services! What sets us a part from others is the service we provide and how we provide it. How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

I believe my reputation within the field of etiquette has a lot to do with who I am as a person. For example, growing up, I entered and won several pageants, I did modeling, etc. As an adult, I carry myself a certain way at all times. So that has helped people come to “know” me as being very proper; therefore, that allows me to gain more clientele just by word of mouth.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?

I’ve become resilient in just being a business owner. For awhile, I became very discouraged because it seemed as though I was not getting any business at all. I had a “woe is me” season. Then, I finally got up from that place, prayed for direction and received it. I met with a few key people and asked for advice. I couldn’t afford to pay them, but because of my reputation, they were willing to assist without compensation. That’s when I rebranded myself and added services to my business. We have to know and change with the times and that’s what I did. Now…business is picking back up and I love it!
