We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Chohnice Daniels Travis Whiteside. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Chohnice Daniels below.
Chohnice Daniels, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.
We took a big risk opening our own Chiropractic office towards the tail end of the pandemic. Not only did we step out of faith opening our office we also opened another business called HOTWORX.
Three years ago after graduating from Chiropractic school we both chose to take an associate position at different offices in Memphis. While we learned a great bit during our time there, a lot of it was learning what we didn’t want to do if we ever opened our own practice. While working at those offices in the middle of a pandemic we discovered HOTWORX, a 24 hr infrared fitness studio. We instantly fell in love with the concept and workouts, but what made it even better it was the only gym close to us that didn’t close during the pandemic. After working out there for months we found out about franchise opportunities and immediately jumped at the idea of owing a business. Shortly after taking on the franchise opportunity we realized we no longer wanted to associate and were ready to open our own chiropractic practice. Never did we think we would be opening them both around the same time, however with all the things that were changing rapidly in the world that’s exactly what happened!
We currently own and operate The Plug Chiropractic and HOTWORX Asheville-Biltmore Village. While it is very challenging at times to manage both we were willing to take the risk and take the leap of faith!!
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

HOTWORX Asheville Biltmore Village
– HOTWORX is a virtually instructed exercise program created for users to experience the many benefits of infrared heat absorption, while completing a 30-minute Isometric workout or 15-minute High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) session. As the infrared heat penetrates your body causing you to sweat, the isometric postures further accelerate detoxification by physically removing the toxins from your organs through muscle contraction.

Word of mouth has been the most effective strategy.
