Chloe, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Do you take vacations? How do you keep things going – any advice for entrepreneurs who feel like they can’t step away from their business for a short vacation?

I take trips whenever I can (as often as possible), whether they be local staycations or require a passport.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

I’ve often had to pivot, and as a result I believe that adaptability has become one of my greatest strengths in life. Ultimately, toxic work environments, inequitable pay, and surviving COVID, while navigating my own health challenges of fibroids— has pushed me to make sure that I am really proud with the work I am doing on a day to day. In part, (due to a nourishing sabbatical, but also greatly due to my own liberation of becoming fibroids free), as a result, I’ve been able to elevate my passion for reproductive health and justice (specific to improving the Black Maternal Health crisis); and provide an array of support in the advocacy and policy space, as an independent contractor. I am grateful I was led to this moment, where I can now be impactful, on my own terms!

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

Referrals are the best! I take pride in the fact that most of my business has come from people who are privy to my track record directly or are just one person away from a satisfied former client. Some of my most meaningful reviews from clients are:
