We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Chloe Leblanc a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Chloe, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. If you could go back in time do you wish you had started your business sooner or later
If I could go back in time, I definitely wish I had started my business sooner! Looking back, the perfect catalyst for launching my business was when I was engaged. At that time, I was sharing my entire engagement and wedding planning journey on social media and it led to some amazing collaborations with brands and even an invite to attend New York Bridal Fashion Week (NYBFW). I was closely connected with so many valuable brands and brides at that time, it would have been amazing for business.
The catalyst for starting CBC Content Co. came when I received a DM on my personal Instagram asking if I did wedding content creation. At the time, I had just been laid off from my dream job, so I figured I’d give it a go as more of a “hobby.” I started posting more about the wedding industry, and to my surprise, inquiries started flooding in—over 100, to be exact. That was the moment I realized I couldn’t ignore the demand and needed to make this a business. If I had started sooner, I could’ve capitalized on that initial momentum and maybe even avoided the stress of figuring everything out as I went.
In the end, I’m grateful for how it unfolded, but if I could give myself advice, I’d say: don’t wait for the “perfect” moment. If I had taken that leap sooner, I think the journey would’ve been just that much smoother and more fulfilling from the start.

Chloe, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
CBC Content Co is a Wedding Content Creation and Super 8 Film company dedicated to capturing the raw, unfiltered magic of weddings and events. Our work is inspired by nostalgia, vintage film, and a deeply artistic approach to storytelling. We believe that moments should feel as beautiful as they are real, and our goal is to document love stories in a way that is both curated and effortlessly authentic.
I started CBC Content Co at 23, after years of working in content creation and social media. I’ve always had a passion for storytelling, and after attending weddings where couples wished they had more behind-the-scenes content, I saw a need for a service that provided just that—but with an elevated, editorial touch. What began as a small venture quickly grew into a nationwide brand, now with a team of 15 content creators, capturing weddings and events across the country. Our work has been featured by The Today Show, People Magazine, Inside Edition, New York Post, The Independent, The Daily Mail, Sports Illustrated, and Bachelor Nation solidifying CBC Content Co as a trusted name in the luxury wedding space.
We offer wedding content creation delivered back to our clients within 24 hours—providing couples with high-quality iPhone footage, behind-the-scenes moments, and real-time social media content—as well as beautifully crafted Super 8 wedding films. Our services are designed for couples who want more than just traditional wedding videography; they want a true, immersive documentation of their day that feels intimate, artistic, and reflective of their unique love story.
What sets CBC Content Co apart is our attention to detail, creative approach, and commitment to making our couples feel at ease. We don’t just capture moments—we curate experiences that feel like a scene from a classic film. Our aesthetic is timeless yet modern, and we work with couples who appreciate artistry, emotion, and the beauty of the in-between moments.
I’m most proud of how quickly CBC Content Co has grown and the trust our clients place in us to document their most important memories. We’ve had the honor of capturing hundreds of love stories, working with some of the most incredible couples, and expanding our presence in the wedding industry.
For anyone considering CBC Content Co, I want them to know that we are more than just wedding content creators—we are visual storytellers who truly care about preserving the essence of your day. Whether it’s a luxury wedding, an intimate elopement, or a high-profile event, our mission is to provide a seamless, elevated experience that allows you to relive every moment in its purest form

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
The best source of new clients for CBC Content Co has been a combination of referrals, industry connections, social media, and press features.
Referrals from past clients have been one of our strongest drivers of new business. When couples love their experience with CBC, they naturally share it with friends and family who are newly engaged. Word-of-mouth has been invaluable in attracting more dream clients who align with our storytelling style.
Additionally, wedding planners, photographers, and venues have been instrumental in recommending us to their clients. We’ve built strong relationships with luxury wedding vendors who trust our work and refer us to couples looking for curated wedding content. These referrals are especially meaningful because they come from professionals who understand the importance of capturing a wedding day in a seamless and elevated way.
Social media, particularly Instagram and TikTok, has also been a powerful tool for reaching new clients. By sharing behind-the-scenes moments, high-quality iPhone footage, and storytelling-style reels, we’ve been able to showcase the authenticity and artistry of our work. Our content has gained traction through organic reach and viral moments, helping us connect with brides and event planners.
Lastly, press and editorial features in The Today Show, People Magazine, Inside Edition, and many more have helped establish CBC Content Co as a trusted name in the wedding industry. These features not only validate our brand but also introduce us to couples who value high-end, nostalgic, and cinematic wedding storytelling.
Each of these sources has played a key role in growing CBC Content Co into what it is today—an in-demand wedding content creation company that captures love stories in a way that feels both timeless and artistic.

How did you build your audience on social media?
Building our audience on social media has been a steady, intentional process. We’ve been consistently posting on Instagram and TikTok for almost two years, focusing on showcasing our unique approach to wedding content creation and Super 8 films. While growth takes time, we’ve had multiple videos reach over 10 million views, which has helped us gain traction and build a dedicated audience—leading to 16,000 followers on Instagram and 5,000 on TikTok.
For those just starting to build their social media presence, here’s our advice:
Be Consistent – Growth doesn’t happen overnight. Show up regularly, whether that’s posting 3-4 times a week or daily, and stick to a content style that aligns with your brand.
Prioritize Storytelling Over Aesthetics – While a curated feed is great, what truly captivates an audience is the emotion behind the content. Share behind-the-scenes moments, personal insights, and the “why” behind what you do.
Leverage Trends, But Stay True to Your Brand – Viral trends can help with visibility, but make sure they align with your voice. Some of our most viral videos weren’t trend-driven but rather authentic moments that felt real and nostalgic.
Engage with Your Community – Social media isn’t just about posting—it’s about building relationships. Respond to comments, engage with potential clients, and build a community that trusts and values your work.
Don’t Be Afraid to Experiment – Sometimes the videos you least expect to perform well will take off. Test different styles, formats, and captions to see what resonates with your audience.
Ultimately, social media is a long game, but by consistently showing up, creating valuable content, and staying true to our unique storytelling style, we’ve been able to build a loyal audience that not only follows us but also turns into real clients!
