Chloe, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Was there a defining moment in your professional career? A moment that changed the trajectory of your career?
I’ve experienced a lot working in the healthcare field. From working in hospitals to interning with herbalists, I was given an opportunity to learn a new way to help people feel better. Not just with medication but with holistic remedies and hope.
My passion for health and wellness gave birth to my company Ori Bee, LLC. I specialize in wellness teas, body care products and health assessments. Over the years I have learned, people achieve the best results when they answer the question, ” do you want to live?”. That was the defining moment for me in my career. When you decide that you want to live, you will want to change your lifestyle so you can become a healthier version of yourself.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Before I became a business owner and author, I received a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from The Ohio State University. Then I moved on to receive a master’s degree in Public Health Management from Wright State University. After working in health administration for several years, I decided to take my passion for healing in another direction.
I wanted to start using a more holistic approach both naturally and spiritually in my line of work. I believe this is what sets me apart in my craft. I want the whole person to be made whole both naturally and spiritually.
I provide herbal wellness teas, natural body care products and health assessments so we can get to the root of your health concerns. I also have a book for women to read while they are on their healing journey. It’s called Be Made Whole, 40 days of Healing, Empowerment, and Reflection.

Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?
Other than training and knowledge, I think hands on experience is the most helpful for succeeding in holistic medicine. You can read about herbs all day, but to have someone guide you and have that one on one experience is so important. I was honored to have the opportunity to intern with a local herbalist and watch her work in her field. I learned so much just by listening to her testimonies and watching her work with her clients.

If you could go back in time, do you think you would have chosen a different profession or specialty?
If I could go back I would definitely choose the same specialty in my line of work. I believe the Most High Yah has called me to be in the ministry of healing and deliverance. I probably would choose a different educational route to get here but my calling would still be the same.
