Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Chloe Cummings. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Chloe, appreciate you joining us today. What do you think it takes to be successful?
Being a professional photographer and social media coach has allowed for me to have many seasons of success. For me, being successful has become more of a mindset, followed by consistent actions. Having daily routines, and tasking that allow for consistent and confident growth. Setting realistic goals and expectations is also key to a positive mindset. Working for a set amount of time on each task daily has been key to long term success. Being active and trusted within the community, has also become an important part of my brand. After years of consistent hard work, I am so thanful how how far I’ve come. I couldn’t have done it without my mentors and great community’s support!

Chloe, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Hi there!
My name is Chloe Alexa Cummings, Owner of Chloe Cummings Photography. I have been a professional photographer for 9 years and have been doing social media management and coaching for 5 years now. I am a girl mom. I love to photography family portrait, weddings, community events and more. I am also a dental assistant and work at local boutique office located in Downtown Fredericksburg

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
Photography has always been my passion. Social media management and coaching started as helping a friend grow her business and turned into a second profitable, consistent stream of income. When covid happened, marketing changed drastically and the power of reaching clients through Facebook and Instagram became much more vital than anytime before. Covid taught me how to pivot and rebrand several businesses to succeed with seasons of change

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Only a year after shooting professionally, I was brutally gang raped in the Bahamas by resort security. Sharing about this online was key to us getting home safely however lead to me losing all clients and having to rebrand. Rebuilding my business and clientele taught me that consistency and hard work will always lead to success
