Alright, Chief LoLo SunSe-A thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – walk us through the story?
I wouldn’t really say it was a risk. It was actually an Awakening. I was said an Epiphany from the Most High God! I’ve always been a very different being since birth. I am the oldest maternal grandchild and was the shield for all of my younger cousins. As I evolved I had some health/life scares that actually cultivated the strength and power to overcome things that had me in a state of stagnancy. But in the end has elevated into a realm to procreate and I am able to put the talents and God given Anointing to help others find their way through any maze given to them in this plethora called Life!
Chief LoLo SunSe-A, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Well it started as a child with mixing fabrics. I’ve always been drawn to designs and patterns and would coordinate out of ordinary. I would get teased for it so I toned it down. Still with a desire to sew 🧵 and make my own styles to express whatever mood I may be in. It was still interesting and intriguing to mix fabrics. My paternal made quilts for a living and I sat with her while she made them. She was a mother to many and made the best quilts in the tribe everyone purchased from her. My maternal grandmother was also a fashion savvy this sparked my interest in headdress (Gele, Fascinators). The Attire is Nigerian Attire I make all my attire from Nigerian fabrics but my main fabric is the Ankara fabrics from Nigeria 🇳🇬. I’ve found that if you want thick quality fabrics/attire you must purchase quality. Though my attire is all customized it fits properly and last longer. My define is to educate and empower. I feel everyone has a purpose whether big or small. You are special, gifted and equipped to Create!

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
The Authenticity and the originality. I sew 🧵 🪡 and create designs for full figured curvy women. I also make for men and children but expertise is the Plus size woman. All are made with Authentic Ankara fabrics. 🏆⚜️👸🏽⚜️🇳🇬💕🌍✨✨✨✨
