We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Chichi Mogbo a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Chichi, thanks for joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

Thywordhidden was started February 2,2021. It wasn’t anything special , but to me it was a digital diary of sorts.

The account detailed my growth and shared what I was learning as a new Christian.

My goal was to inspire and encourage Christians and others to dig into God’s word and know Jesus deeper. The name of the page itself points to a scripture in Psalms that shows the heart of someone seeking the heart of God, by storing His word in theirs.

My progress can be seen as you scroll through, my editing skills getting better and better as well as my scriptural knowledge. It’s cool to look back at how I was 2 years ago! Some posts are still powerfully challenging me till this day, and some posts I’d LOVE to repost with new editing.

I think it’s really cool that others are able to participate in that journey as well and see the growth!

I have expanded now to a YouTube, Pinterest, Twitter, and Blogger account.

YouTube was the first branch out, and the platform I enjoy the most. I can really show the behind the scenes of ‘the person behind thywordhidden’ and make it feel more personal and practical!

I feel deeply that this generation needs creators that are willing to be vulnerable and share their journey— the highs and lows. Encouragement is a powerful gift and it has helped me on my own journey as a Christian.

Sharing testimonies, touching serious subjects, and displaying daily life can be powerful tools to push people into drive deeper into their calling!

I thoroughly enjoy creating content to the glory of God, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the Thywordhidden platform in the future.

My name is Chichi and my social media platform is called Thywordhidden. It was created to inspire and encourage others on their Christian Journey. I share advice, scripture study, lifestyle content, and more. You can follow along on the path of a young lady navigating life, maturing, and growing on Instagram, Youtube, Pinterest, and Blogger! I know that it will positively impact your journey as well!

Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?

Canva, Canva, Canva! If there’s one resource a content creator needs, this would be it! Invest in creating quality content for your viewers. It doesn’t have to be difficult as this platform has thousands of templates, graphics, fonts, and more for producing eye catching content. Give your best to your community, they notice!

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

As one that is still growing steadily in terms of an audience, my best advice to someone just beginning in to be faithful. Stick to what you originally wanted to use your account for, even if your hobbies or direction in life shifts. Life can throw you curve balls, but be determined to really see your audience and provide something of value to them. Message those that contact you with genuine kindness, reply to messages, and really SEE them. That will keep followers in for the long run.
