We were lucky to catch up with Cheyenne Canton recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Cheyenne, thanks for joining us today. Looking back, do you think you started your business at the right time? Do you wish you had started sooner or later
I’ve had my business for years now , while still working as a chef in restaurants. One day , i decided to put in my notice and focus on taking my business & myself more seriously. At the time i was getting booked a lot and wanted to put my all into it and i knew i couldn’t do both. I wish i started taking it more serious 2018, i think i would be ALOT further in my career and avoided a lot of mistakes. But in the year and a half of going all in, i can truly say everything happens when it’s suppose too.
Cheyenne, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Sure! I’m Chef Chy Blvd, Owner of 3two3 Blvd Catering. Im a private chef Los Angeles native but based in Atlanta, specializing in creating unforgettable gourmet dining experiences. My journey into the culinary world was at random but i had a passion for cooking at a young age. Over the years, I’ve honed my craft, evolving from home-cooked meals for friends and family to working in amazing restaurants to offering personalized chef services for intimate dinners, events, and catered gatherings.
What sets my work apart is my focus & love for culinary arts. I’m always a student in the field. I’m humble enough to know it’s a lot to learn but confident enough to know I’m that girl.
One of the main problems I solve for my clients is taking the stress out of hosting. I provide a seamless, professional service so they can relax and enjoy the moment with their guests while indulging in dishes they’ll remember. I’m proud of the connections I’ve built through food and how my clients trust me to deliver both flavor and experience.
For anyone considering working with me, I want them to know that I bring passion, creativity, and a touch of fun to everything I do. My brand is about more than just great food—it’s about creating memories, celebrating life’s moments, and sharing joy around the table. If you’re looking for a chef who values your vision and brings a flavorful twist to every event, I’m your go-to.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Building my reputation within the market has been a mix of consistency, authenticity, and putting the client experience first. Happy clients who enjoy not just the food but the overall vibe I bring have been my biggest success.
I’m proud of being approachable and collaborative, making clients feel heard and valued.
What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
Word of mouth is 80% of my best resource, but also focusing on showcasing my work through engaging content on social media. Sharing behind-the-scenes moments, highlighting the love I put into each dish, and letting my personality shine through has helped people feel connected to me and what I offer.
