Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Chesterr. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Chesterr, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Learning the craft is often a unique journey from every creative – we’d love to hear about your journey and if knowing what you know now, you would have done anything differently to speed up the learning process.
There isn’t a rule book or guideline to podcasting. In year 3 it’s still very few people I can ask tips of the trade to improve the quality of my product. A lot of it is learn as you go

Chesterr, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My name is Chesterr. Raised in Fayetteville, NC. I do many different creative things but mainly I’ve been focusing on my podcast as of late (Put Me On Game Podcast). I’ve always been the person to watch interviews and group discussions on things on YouTube before I would watch regular tv shows. Once you watch enough of them the questions are repetitive and media trained answers get boring. I wanted to watch something different so I created the space to be able to fulfill that.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
The biggest thing I’ve learned is been authentic. Early on every time I tried to do something outside of myself it wasn’t as successful as if I stayed true to myself. Every move small or big that I felt that had true quality to it has prospered for my career
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
For me watching the finished product back for my own enjoyment and appreciation. Afterwards others appreciating the product even if it’s one person that’s looking forward to the next. That’s what drives me to keep going everyday
