Cherrine, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
My mission is to help single mothers understand that self love is not selfish! There are plenty of ways to indulge, but my favorite is SPA LIKE at home lol ( single mommy of 2 under 4). I’m embarking this journey with them also. Taking extra steps into my daily skin care routine, going to the gym and choosing better foods daily. Its a ride but I’m enjoying it
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Since my teenage years, I’ve had a passion for crafting homemade masks and butter products. However, it was in 2018 when I gave birth to my first daughter that I stumbled upon an unexpected revelation. As she struggled with mild eczema, I discovered the incredible healing properties of breastmilk. Eager to help her and share the benefits with others, I created an abundance of specialized products and even distributed a few to friends and family who needed them. Little did I know that this would be the humble beginning of my journey into entrepreneurship, a path I didn’t seriously consider until 2020.
Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?
I funded everything out of my own pocket, i still work a 9-5
Can you share one of your favorite marketing or sales stories?
My favorite marketing is when my customers leave me a review!, The testimony in each is very rewarding and fulfilling to me
