We were lucky to catch up with Cherelle Armistead recently and have shared our conversation below.
Cherelle, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Do you take vacations? Why or why not?
I am a big fan of vacations and highly recommend them to hardworking individuals. Taking time off to recharge is essential for mental and physical well-being. Returning from a vacation brings a fresh perspective, potential new ideas, and a sense of calm energy crucial for working with clients.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
After discovering my passion for interior design while renovating my own home, I honed my skills through a year of mentoring and an online course. This journey led to the creation of Luxe Life Interiors in Glen Allen, VA. Specializing in contemporary luxury, we tailor our style to each client’s vision and needs. Our services encompass Consultations, E-Designs, Interior Styling, Full Service Design, and Renovations, aiming to bring our clients’ homes to life and craft spaces they’ll adore for years. Some clients possess quality furniture they cherish but struggle to harmonize, while others seek a fresh start with varying levels of clarity on their vision. We excel at unveiling their home’s potential, transforming spaces beyond their imagination. What distinguishes us is not just our design style but also the unparalleled customer service and meticulous attention to detail we offer. My proudest achievement is taking the leap to pursue my dreams. We are excited to welcome new clients and are eager to unveil our true talents. Schedule your complimentary discovery call at www.luxelifeinteriors.org to embark on a transformative design journey with us.
Have any books or other resources had a big impact on you?
The ‘God’s Creative Power’ gift collection book has been incredibly encouraging, transformative in my thinking and speech, beneficial financially, and particularly recommended for those feeling discouraged or entrepreneurs navigating the challenges of business.
How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?
To secure business funding, I consulted a credit expert for guidance on business credit, subsequently applying for credit cards from Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, among others. Securing zero interest for the initial 12 months enabled me to acquire essential resources to launch my business. I devised a strategic debt repayment plan, requiring significant focus and discipline.
