Chelsea, appreciate you joining us today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?

Chelsea, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I offer services in the following areas: photography, graphic design, & social media.

Let’s talk photography – I’ve had a camera in hand since I was a little girl. I’ve always had a passion for photography & capturing the moments that you’ll want to look back on later in life. Being able to hold a moment in your hands forever is a magical and fantastic thing, which is why I love having the ability to capture those moments for you! Set aside life for a moment and think about the last time you had a photograph of yourself and your loved ones or just photos of yourself to boost your confidence. Has it been a while? Yes? Then it’s time to get in touch, and let me capture you, your life, and your milestones!

Choosing a photographer to capture your life’s special and memorable moments can be tricky, but I’m here to help! I enjoy covering everything from celebrating graduation to being there as you get married or your band putting on a fantastic show. I am an on-location, travel-loving photographer! I’ve covered everything from weddings to babies to sporting events and concerts, but I love to try new things, so please don’t hesitate to ask! Let’s talk about what you’re looking for in your photos because you’re the one hanging them on the wall!

Let’s talk about graphic design & social media – I’ve loved putting things together for as long as I can remember. I enjoy taking ideas from paper to the digital realm. Graphic design is a part of your everyday life whether you realize it or not. Everything from your cereal box to the news article you read this morning has all been touched by graphic design. Let’s talk about what you’re looking for – a logo, an update to your website, helping you launch your socials, or creating content for your socials! What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

For me, the most rewarding aspect of being creative is seeing my work or photographs out in the world. There’s an almost magical feeling seeing something you’ve created or captured being used or seen every day. Anywhere from seeing a logo as a sign or a poster design to seeing a photo I captured being used as a profile photo, used to promote an event, or hanging on someone’s wall because they loved it so much they wanted to be able to look at it every day.

How did you build your audience on social media?

Building my audience/community on social media still happens every day! I aim to post content that is real to me and represents who I am vs what I “think” I should post. I have connected with so many people and businesses over the years to build my audience/community on social media. I have shamelessly plugged myself and invited friends and family to like pages because you never know who will see it and need your services!

The best thing I can tell people about building their audience/community on social media is to decide who you/your brand is and stick to that! You want to build a community of supporters/followers who believe in you and what you have to say. Post consistently as well! Batch creation is a great tool for being able to post consistently.
