Chelsea, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
Great question, my mission is to truly guide women to confidence. Starting with taking control of your body and then taking control over you mind. The purpose of a wax is obviously to remove your hair, but it’s so much deeper than that. With every appointment my clients return more confident and comfortable in their own skin. Confidence starts within in the most vulnerable places, we strengthen that confidence with every service.

Chelsea, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I’m just a girl who at 25 was totally lost and confused on what direction to go in life. I lacked confidence i lacked direction and knowledge.Now me at 31 I’m a mom of 4 and someone who thrives in uncomfortable and vulnerable moments. I became a waxer and a business owner by simply putting myself into action and riding the rollercoaster of life. As many small business owner you don’t always know where you’re going to end up. I started out with a passion for makeup and brows and it grew into a passion for waxing and helping women become powerful. My brand is Godess Wax Studio because what women doesn’t want to feel like a goddess? We offer full body waxing,intimate care such as skin lightening and vajacials. We do more than just wax you and send you on your way. We create a safe space for women to go from a girl to a Goddess. Our transformational products have been life changing and impactful to women that have been searching to heal damages that have been done previously to waxing. Im most proud of my clients that continue to trust me to guide them to becoming a new women.
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
My clients are my biggest supporters and advertisement. Waxing is such an intimate service people want to talk directly to a source or someone who has experienced it first hand. Also showing up for my business daily through social media had been great for me. I try to make GWS ig page a clear and warm as possible. Lastly but most important connecting genuinely with my clients directly, building that relationship with all my clients on a monthly basis keep us connected and i hear they are needs and wants directly and i can give them the answers they need.
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
I’m a master pivoter at this point in life lol. Running a business is about all about having to transition and be flexible. When i first graduated esthetician school i assumed i would just jump in the industry and take off, well not quite. I went from working jobs to maintain my business, to working under other beauty business and salons. i had to get flexible and keep moving, but all that moving around life equipped me with some great life and business skill.
