Hi Chelsea, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?

Embarking on a greener, acne-free path, I scrutinized my daily practices and considered areas where I was squandering money on unnecessary items – and that led me straight to my beauty regime! It’s astounding to think about the amount I shelled out over time, in an attempt to heal my impaired skin, oblivious to the fact that it was these very products causing harm in the first place. It spawned the idea of establishing a marketplace where people can resell, contribute or correctly dispose of items they don’t need or that didn’t meet their needs. In addition, it offers average buyers like me the chance to acquire products they adore without financially overstretching.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?

Most definitely not a smooth road one bit! Trying to establish such a niche brand in such an uncharted territory has so many challenges but also so fun at the same time being able to forge our own way. Finding quality people to stick with you during the start-up unknown phase was our biggest challenge.

YouFromMe is a circular marketplace for beauty products. We are here to close the loop within the beauty industry to better our planet and create a community of sustainability. We reuse beauty products that are already in circulation from everyday consumers to make products accessible, affordable, and make a positive impact.
