We’d love to hear your scaling up story – walk us through how you grew over time – what were some of the big things you had to do to grow and what was that scaling up journey like?

From the beginning, Twist Events focused on providing exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our clients. Scaling up has been an exciting journey; it combines strategic planning, continuous improvement, and a deep understanding of our client’s needs.

This business used to be a one-woman show, but I quickly realized I couldn’t pursue this adventure alone. I invested in building a talented and dedicated team of bartenders and event professionals who shared my vision and values. My team allowed Twist Events to consistently deliver our clients high-quality experiences, generating positive word-of-mouth referrals and repeat business.

I focus more on fostering strong relationships with local venues, event planners, and vendors in the event industry and leveraging Twist Events’ Facebook and Instagram pages to expand our reach and cross-promote other event businesses. Collaborating with these partners enabled Twist Events to tap into new markets, allowing our business to thrive in a highly competitive landscape.

I attribute our scaling success to our consistent commitment to excellence. Twist Events consistently strives to exceed client expectations by delivering personalized experiences, attention to detail, and an unwavering dedication to service quality. Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I was brought into this world in 1991, but let’s fast forward to 2013 when I graduated from Western Michigan University and moved to Colorado to embark on a new chapter in the mountains. It was here where I honed my craft as a bartender at a bar in Old Colorado City – Alchemy, gaining invaluable expertise in crafting a diverse range of cocktails.

In 2017, life’s circumstances led me back to my home state of Michigan to be there for my Nana and Papa. During this deeply personal and reflective period, I realized the strong sense of belonging that the Mitten held for me. Then, the seed of Twist Events was planted, marking the inception of a remarkable venture that would blend all my passions. Twist Events specializes in bartending, serving, hosting, production services, rentals, and recently teleprompting in the bustling area of Metro Detroit.

Our commitment to excellence begins with a complimentary event consultation for every client, where we cover all the intricate details. Throughout the entire process leading up to their event, we maintain open lines of communication, ensuring a seamless experience.
