We recently connected with Chelsea Lee Woudstra and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Chelsea Lee thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. It’s always helpful to hear about times when someone’s had to take a risk – how did they think through the decision, why did they take the risk, and what ended up happening. We’d love to hear about a risk you’ve taken.
I’ve always been a risk taker. Tiptoeing mischievously on the tight-rope between success and failure, life and death… My mom passed away unexpectedly when I was 16, and that event deeply ingrained the mantra “Life is short, and time is precious,” into my being.
So I’ve struck out on my own (moved across the country at age 18), traveled the country and globe (35+ states & 8 countries ‘n counting😉), invested in education and business (both time and money), chased love (it all worked out thank goodness🙌🏼😂), became a parent. We’re all risk takers really. Living is a risk each day. Yet we go forth bravely. Driving cars, flying on (or jumping out of) planes, falling in love, raising children…
Inevitably, we all will eventually lose the game of life to Death. But the win is to live it anyway! Live it fully! Follow your dreams. Follow your heart. Be kind. Don’t let your fear stop you from living. Learn to listen to and honor your fear, and then, if it’s what you’re meant for, do it despite the fear!

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’m Chelsea Lee, and I LOVE helping folks feel great in their bodies! I work primarily with female identifying leaders, spiritual entrepreneurs, healers, and caregivers to resolve physical, mental, and emotional pain and trauma so that they can joyfully embrace the totality of their being!
I care about supporting marginalized communities, because I believe we are all one family, and what effects one of us affects us all. “Everything is connected.”
My life’s work is reminding people of their inherent worthiness, their intrinsic inner beauty, as living a life of embodied wholeness can truly create a kinder more balanced world.
I struggled with chronic pain, illness, severe depression, and anxiety for most of my life. Through grief and trauma, I was brought to a place of raw truth and deep healing. It is my soul’s greatest wish that all beings are able to face and embrace all the parts of themselves to heal and experience and celebrate the fullness of Life!
These are the topics I speak and write about. I also offer one to one in person healing sessions, as well as group movement therapy and healing classes. I offer online and in-person Courses and Keynotes for hands-on healers and folks struggling with chronic pain.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
I truly care about people and their results! So taking the time to learn about them and making sure they actually feel better is really important to me. It’s all about communication, education, and sincerity. People come back to me, and refer others to me, because they know I care. They know I educate myself constantly, I practice what I preach, and they know that they matter to me. Plus, because of the copious education and training, I am really effective at what I do!

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
I think the biggest thing I’ve had to unlearn is the lie that I wasn’t enough. Pretty much every fear can be broken down to the feeling that we aren’t enough, or fear of abandonment. I was already doing pretty well professionally when I finally was able to erase or uproot that belief. It is the biggest game changer in all areas of life to truly know that we are whole, worthy, and enough no matter what. Then, every failure is just a lesson. No shame or self-flagulation needed. Absolutely liberating!
