The kindest thing anyone has ever done for me is invest in me . People will say they support you; they will talk the talk and not even share a post about your business or services . When a person actually spends their hard earned money on a product or even sponsoring me or my career . It’s heartwarming .

Chelly, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

My name is Itsyagirlchelly and I am an Entertainer and Media Influencer , I got my Bachelors in Mass Communications and my Master’s in Digital Marketing and I use my degrees to market myself and other brands in the best light . The Itsyagirlchelly Tv Brand is new and developing into a media brand that caters to different audiences but we will keep you all updated just look for the Chillin With Chelly Podcast.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

A lesson I had to unlearn is what I call , “ Cinderella Syndrome” the idea that someone is coming to save you, the idea that if I slave for one company or person they can put me on. No one can put you on, only hard work , consistency , and growth can put you on. Being a woman people try to feed you illusions so that you can stay submissive and ideally , “ wait” for your big break. Waiting will get you left behind .

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

I am actually in a pivot right now. The Itsyagirlchelly brand had been under construction for a few months and is under new management actually. Due to several situations where my talents , ideas , and personality have been misused and my time wasted, but lessons learned . 2023 has been a year where I realized I hit my ceiling , I got myself as far as I could by myself and with the resources that I have accumulated over the past ten years in this industry. I made the decision to invest in myself and became not only changing my digital footprint but to change my image as well. Pivot into my Talent Bag. My resume speaks for itself but why settle if we can be bigger if we can be better , and being a girl that grew up in Texas I LOVE anything that’s BIGGER . This pivot is about the world finally seeing me , hearing me , and me giving you all I’ve got on the big screens, little screens, and in your headphones .
