We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Chef Cole. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Chef below.
Chef, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
The story behind my mission is to create kids who want to get back in the kitchen. My overall goal is to always give back to the kids who see theirselves being a chef. Culinary school can only do so much for the kids but the hands on experience and someone who came from the same background can help them understand better.

Chef, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Well I’m Chef Cole born and raise In Atlanta,GA. I’m a 31 year old chef who most definitely love people and seeing them smile after enjoying a meal prepared by me. The biggest advantage I have over most chef is me being self taught and having a heart for the people. I take great pride in all I do when it come to anything dealing with food. My biggest accomplishment so far is making it on “WHAT’S COOKING ATL”. Also having multiple magazine articles that talk about what I love to do. I specialize in just making people happy with anything I make while I’m in the comfort of your home.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
The resilience that has keep me going comes from me struggling my first year in starting. From doing any and everything to make sure I pursue my dream with all my heart. From being behind on rent to my truck needing a transmission in transferring to a contract that now I’ve been working over almost a year and a half. The pressure is always there and has been the best part of my journey in becoming the chef I am today.

Can you open up about how you funded your business?
The way I funded my business in the beginning of me starting my LLC was me working in a field I completely hated. I took money from every paycheck I received to put toward buying materials and everything I needed to start my business. When I finally had the courage to step out fully from my full time job I literally had $1000 to my name. But I made it work to the best of my ability and now seeing multiple streams of income has keep me afloat.
