We were lucky to catch up with Chaz Warhol recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Chaz thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Owning a business isn’t always glamorous and so most business owners we’ve connected with have shared that on tough days they sometimes wonder what it would have been like to have just had a regular job instead of all the responsibility of running a business. Have you ever felt that way?
Well, in fact I am happier as a future business owner, and music artist. I do work a regular job too, but I‘m pushing efforts to pursue my full time. Things are slowly, but surely taking off and the steadiness of its process works for me.

Chaz , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Hello, My name is Chaz Warhol. I am a singer-songwriter, and photographer based in Baltimore, Maryland. I got my start as a creative from the age of 4. From singing on my grandmothers stoop with a few of my other siblings,, to learning music throughout my middle school years, and afterwards making it into a career. Likewise in my photography, however it was inspired through life experiences and the “Tumblr” aesthetic. So, in retrospect, I use my music and photos to compel my fans to romanticize their life, while embracing the highs and lows gracefully.
Of course, there were problems that were solved for clients when setting up photo sessions: Preparation of photos, from editing them to providing disks/flash drives. Also, making clients feel seen, safe to explore their sensibilities/inner child. . Likewise in music, when singing aloud for my fans to feel nurtured, and inspired to keep their focus on their own journeys.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Hmm, interesting way to put it. Well, this one is about a time where I had undergone a major setback in my living situation at the time. The fight to maintain my music/photography career, yet repairing debts along the way is just the icing on the cake. The broken-family dynamic, which took a huge toll on me then. Now, I have a healthier bond with them, as it gets better.

How did you build your audience on social media?
I’ve built my audience by simply creating from my experiences. Whether it be writing poetry, and reciting it in songs, or keeping the people informed through my visuals.
The key is building a social media presence, is to stay consistent. When I’m doubt, always push yourself to your greatest potential.
