Chavez, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – walk us through the story?
I’ve taken a risk in my personal and professional life. Starting businesses is a risk in itself. The risk lies within not knowing. Not knowing is the business will succeed, how the business will progress, if it will at all. I’ve taken the risk in starting a digital marketing company, Charger Marketing Group. While it may seem like a no-brainer to start a digital marketing company in today’s climate, we must also acknowledge how saturated the market is with such companies.
I’ve taken the risk because that is what motivates me. Figuring out how to start, market and build a business is what drives me and I look to forward to the day I can say the business is a success. We are still in our building stages and have landed clients, however I have much bigger plans for where the business can go and an looking forward to the continued risk of building a business.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I was born and raised in Miami, Fl. Growing up I was heavily involved in sports and that has shaped my personality along with my skills in the business world. I got into the industry after seeing my Father involved in the business world. From a very early age, I knew I wanted to follow in my Father’s footsteps. My introduction to the spirits industry came when I began working in a South Beach nightclub. That turned into a positions as a brand specialists for a national marketing company working on clients such as Bacardi and MillerCoors.
In my position as Marketing Director, I provide direction on marketing strategies, project management, and execution. In my position I strive to solve the problem of trying to figure out how to connect without audiences. I also look at where to meet our audience, and what resonates best with them.
With Charger Marketing Group, we provide digital marketing services. We also provide creative strategy and content creation for our clients. We solve the problem of managing social media, creating content, and choosing a strategy that best connects with their audience.
At Charger Marketing Group I am most proud of how we connect with our clients and offer a personal experience. We provide quality services at an affordable price that allows our clients to remain active and grow on social media where their customers are. We help brands define and develop their voice. We’re driven by creativity, passion, and innovation to ensure we fulfill our key mission of helping our clients find their success. We strive to power a personal connection between brands and people through engaging, indelible experiences that generate customer loyalty.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
Word of mouth/Referrals. Studies show that the leading way people engage in new services are products is through the referral of family and friends. We pride ourselves on providing memorable service and therefore clients will recommend out services to others being that they know we can be trusted.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
My biggest pivot was that of graduating college and figuring out how to enter the business world. I played college sports so upon graduating it was a culture shock to now join a world where sports weren’t the centerpiece of my existence. The pivot took some adjustment time but it was definitely my biggest pivot thus far.
