Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Chauncia Jones. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am a Technology and Project Management professional by day, but I have a passion for helping and inspiring youth and women. I started in Technology in 2009 not knowing anything at all, but with the proper guidance, mentorship, and positive attitude, I had been able to take advantages of many professional opportunities that would not have been presented to me otherwise.
InfiniteDirection was created in 2020 to serve women who were underemployed or unemployed. Women who undergoing major life transitions and looking to get back into the workforce. I began assisting them gain confidence in translating the skills they’ve acquired in everyday life into a strong marking tool, a resume. One of my favorite mottos is, “throw nothing away.” Experiences and challenges we tend to hide shape us into who we are. Resilient.
Working with my business mentor, I began coming up with a plan to create a community collaboration program between young adults and local business owners, like internship programs, but the Coronavirus hit the world hard and businesses such as non-profits had shut their doors to the public. To keep my business alive, I had to PIVOT. Intuitively, I began posting inspirational messages to keep my newly created social media page active and continued to do resumes for my existing clients.
After some time, I experienced another intuitive nudge to consolidate all the knowledge I had gained over my twelve years of professional experience into a guidebook called the Career Strategies for Success Guidebook designed for the youth and young adults I intended to serve.
Here I am in 2023 continuing to promote the Career Strategies for Success Guidebook which I have expanded into a curriculum to assist businesses, decision-makers and homeschooling parents all serving youth looking to transition into the workforce. My program was designed and packaged in a way to empower families of our communities to plan for success through sound decision making and to understand the importance of building strong and prosperous communities. It is important that we restore our communities and heal the generations that come after us, to build esteem amongst our youth again so they understand that their possibilities are infinite.
INFINITE POSSIBILITES, INFINITEDIRECTION!

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
One major lesson I am learning on this journey of entrepreneurship is to heal the relationship with my inner self by examining my beliefs. Because our beliefs shape our mindset, thoughts, feelings, and actions, I personally had to examine my negative self-talk. There were times where I suffered from “imposter syndrome,” and didn’t feel qualified when networking amongst more established business owners. Earlier on, I began to search for the root of this lack of confidence and discovered it started in my childhood because I was bullied in school and never realized I never dealt with my inner child’s need for acceptance, even in adulthood. Once I began addressing my inner child by tending to her needs, I started to become more secure in rooms I never thought I’d be in. This healing the inner child journey has led me to create three personal development decks created as tools to motivate and inspire others while on their journey of healing and self-discovery.

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
One way that I have committed to creating and maintaining customer loyalty and brand recognition is by starting the Accountability Call for Creatives where once a month, myself and other business owners, and creatives connect to “keep our hands on one another.” Our calls are meant to guide one another through creative roadblocks such as time maximization and goalsetting challenges. We also connect those in need of resources to business owners and coaches who can support. The Accountability Call for Creatives has been a great way to create and build a network of like-minded people looking to serve their community.
