Charnell , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Are you happier as a business owner? Do you sometimes think about what it would be like to just have a regular job?
I am definitely happier as a business owner because it allows me to work at my own pace and honestly do whatever I want to do. As you become your own boss, there are no limits. You hold the key and power to achieve whatever it is you want to achieve. I don’t think about having a regular job because entrepreneurship grants you freedom, the privilege to set your own prices, & make as much income you wish to make, when you want to make it.

My name is Charnell Diamond and I am from Orlando, Florida. I have several businesses and services that I offer such as women’s clothing and glam needs, startup business services, recipes, as well as health and wellness coaching. I solve my customers problems by being a one stop shop, and teaching those with certain health problems about holistic approaches they may take to fulfill their health needs.

I sold my first business a few years ago. In 2015, I earned my degree as a master cosmetologist. In 2019, I sold my hair salon as I retired from being a hairstylist, & transitioned to my current career path.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I feel as if there’s a never ending marketing strategy on social media. If you’re a business owner, you have the power to build your audience and reach new people daily. By doing so, you have to be consistent. Consistency, using your platforms, maintaining thick skin, keeping your eyes on your own prize, and having items that catches the eye of others are some key factors of owning a successful business.
