We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Charnae Abrams. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Charnae below.
Charnae, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s talk legacy – what sort of legacy do you hope to build?
I hope to build a legacy where future generations experience the freedom to embrace the calling placed on their lives. I want to be remembered as someone who empowered women to fully embrace their God-given identity and walk in healing from the brokenness of their past. Through my work, I want to have partnered with women on their journeys, helping them understand how to use their creative gifts for the Kingdom of God. I pray that people will look back and see me as someone who played a part in their restoration and empowerment.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’m a podcast host, writer, and content creator with a heart for empowering others, especially the daughters of Christ. In 2024, I launched my podcast, *Charnae Is A Vessel*, where I encourage women to see their lives, bodies, and homes as sacred spaces for the Lord. The anchor scripture for my podcast is 2 Timothy 2:20-21, which emphasizes being a vessel for honorable use, set apart for God’s purposes.
I’ve always had a passion for creating and have considered myself a visual storyteller throughout the years. As I grew in my creative journey, I took on various skills in content creation, which allows me to express myself freely and without boundaries. Content creation, in particular, gives me the opportunity to showcase all the creative gifts I’ve been called to, whether through podcasts, writing, or other forms of media.
Writing is a key part of my work because it allows me to articulate visual concepts and provide clarity and direction to the aesthetic visions I create. It’s a way for me to bridge my love for Christ with my love for creating—helping others see how they can use their creativity for His glory.
What sets me apart is the unique way I combine my faith with my creative gifts, offering content that is not only visually compelling but also deeply rooted in scripture and Christ-centered principles. I’m proud of the community I’m building through *Charnae Is A Vessel* and the conversations we’re having about how to honor God with every part of our lives.
What I want potential clients, followers, and fans to know is that my work is a reflection of my desire to help women live out their God-given identity and embrace their creative calling. My mission is to encourage women to see themselves as vessels of God’s love and power, using their creative gifts to serve Him and others.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
For me, the most rewarding aspect of being a creative is the sense of release that comes when I bring the concepts in my head into the world. Creating is a space where I can fully surrender and let go of the need to control. It’s a process of trusting and stepping into what I’ve been called to do, free from the fear of how others will perceive it. When I create, I move beyond concerns about acceptance and simply embrace the journey, allowing my obedience to guide me. The joy of seeing an idea take shape and knowing it’s part of my creative calling is incredibly fulfilling.
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
The mission driving my creative journey is to see women living in true freedom, and to inspire them to embrace that freedom fully. I want to create a ripple effect where women reclaim their identity and empower others to do the same. For anyone who has felt silenced or broken, my prayer is that they experience a Revelation 12:11 moment—where, through sharing their gifts and testimony, they find victory and healing in their lives. It’s about helping women realize the power in their story and their creative gifts, and watching them rise in their freedom to inspire others along the way.
