We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Charmaine Broome a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Charmaine, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – walk us through the story?

I took a leap of faith coming from singing with Kirk Franklin full time, to now being a Master Vending Machine Business Coach. My pivot was scary. Coming from something I was familiar with for almost 20years to trusting God with new transition. What I can say is that moving this way has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself in a long time. I don’t see myself stopping any time soon.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I am 1st a Christian. I love The Lord. I’m a devoted loving wife, bonus mom, and bio mom in waiting. I am a professional singer, blended family enthusiast, children’s book author, content creator, brand ambassador, self acclaimed chef, and now master Bending Machine Business Coach. I’m a believer that I can do ALL THINGS. “THIS and THAT”, and that’s what I live by. There are so many gifts inside of me. Inside of us all honestly. It’s our responsibility to tap into them all. Try to at least find a way.

As a Master Vending Machine Business Coach I teach others how to tap into this 80 Billion Dollar a year industry, and be successful. I offer a 4 day boot camp that is phenomenal. My students/clients are taught from a “No Gatekeeping” standpoint, which I feel is so important these days. People are in need of hope, and a way to help bring further financial freedom for their family. Being truthful, and available for coaching is super important to me. That is what sets me apart.

I am most proud of my drive, and willingness to NEVER GIVE UP. No matter how hard it gets. I trust God in all things. I’m also proud of all of my students and clients. Since 2021 I’ve taught over 300+ students. Over half of them have locations and machines. They are thriving in this industry which give me even more motivation. To reach and help as many people as I can through my “I Be Vending Academy” brand.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

A lesson I had to unlearn was that I am more than a vocalist. Being a vocalist is only what I do. One thing I do. lol. It’s not who I am. I has to learn it’s ok to pivot from what I’m Conditioned too believe about myself, and step out of limitations.

Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?

I actually used business credit to fund my business. I learned about business credit during the pandemic, and it changed my life. It allowed me to be able to obtain the capital needed to scale/grow my business without having to use my own money. Using OPM is a beautiful, powerful thing. So now not only do I teach about the vending business, but I teach on business credit as well.
