We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Charm3r a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Charm3r, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Are you happy as a creative professional? Do you sometimes wonder what it would be like to work for someone else?
They both go hand in hand, I am both an artist and a creative/creator. I love the lifestyle of an artist and I also love the creative side of it. I do no see myself working a regular job because I don’t consider myself to be regular. I cannot settle for working for someone else, however I don’t mind partnering. The lifestyle of an artist is not easy, but its worth fighting for something you love and enjoy doing.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers?
Talented all-around artist, notoriously known as “Charm3r,” is also recognized for his videography/photography, his engineering ability, and his marketing and graphic designer skills. Most refer to him as “a one stop shop.” Charm3r was born in Nassau, Bahamas, June 2nd and was raised in the City of Miami, Fl. Since the age of 9, Charm3r realized his love for music thanks to his musically inclined uncle and aunt and had always been surrounded by music. HE MADE HIS FIRST DEBUT AT THE AGE OF 17 WITHIN THE GROUP “BFAM’ WHICH LATER DECIDED TO VENTURE OFF INTO DIFFERENT AVENUES. YEARS LATER CHARMER BECAME CHARM3R, WITH THE 3. IT’S BEEN 4 YEARS SINCE CHARM3R DECIDED TO TAKE HIS MUSICAL CAREER ONE HUNDRED PERCENT SERIOUS. recently he’s been spotted on set of love & hiphop atl/Miami and NOW WITH HIS SONG STEP’ AND HIS APPEARANCE IN THE MOVIE “REMOTE LOCATION’ WITH THE AWARD WINNING PRODUCER CP HOLLYWOOD, HE STATES THAT 2022 IS THE YEAR THAT HE TAKES OVER!
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
The lesson I had to unlearn was that I didn’t need to know the business and that I should just focus on making good music. I had to learn the hard way that the business side of music is far more important then the music side, promoting, and marketing is key within the music business.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
I did time, and that alone taught me many things, such as patience. I was always a now type of person but I had to slow down and reevaluate things. Consistency is the key to success, as you grow as long as you remain consistent, people will start to notice you and your brand.
