We recently connected with Charlotte Dalbin and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Charlotte thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Was there a moment in your career that meaningfully altered your trajectory? If so, we’d love to hear the backstory.
My father was, in many ways, my biggest ally, supporter, and best friend. Born when he was 55, he had a wealth of wisdom to share, which is why I was wiser beyond my years. He passed away from lung cancer when I was 12, leaving my mother, my half-brother, and me with a few important real estate properties.
A year after my father’s passing, a local gang learned about my mother’s inheritance. Through deception, they kidnapped my mother, my half-brother, and me, holding us for approximately nine months. During that time, I discovered that this gang was part of a larger drug trafficking network, colluding with the government.
Growing up, my dream was first to become a veterinarian and later a pediatrician. I completed several internships in local pediatric wards and was absolutely convinced of my calling when I enrolled in my first year of medical school in France. However, I quit after six months. The competition was intense, and the sacrifices required no longer made sense to me.
Years of therapy and having become more comfortable with my past helped me decide to pursue a career path that would allow me to combat illicit groups similar to those that had harmed my family and me. This led me to the field of geopolitics, national defense and security. As a proud survivor, I had always believed that quitting was not an option. Yet, stepping away from medicine became the only way for me to find my true calling.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is Charlotte Ana Dalbin, I am 34 years old, and I am the proud mother of two little girls. I was born and raised in the small fishing village of Las Galeras in the Dominican Republic to a French-Italian father and a Dominican mother. Growing up, I spent more time in the sea than on land, with few limitations on what I could do. Surrounded mostly by boys, my competitive nature was shaped early on.
I grew up comfortably speaking French, English, Spanish, and Italian in a home where skin color, gender, and culture were not rigidly defined, unlike many households at the time. Living between lines has always been my reality; people often struggle to pinpoint where I’m from.
Spirituality has been a significant quest in my life for as long as I can remember. My father instilled in me a passion for reading, leading me to explore countless spiritual books in search of meaning. After my father’s passing, I found solace in reading thousands of near-death experiences, which provided me insights into life. The common elements shared by over 4,000 people from diverse cultures and belief systems suggested that these truths were universal.
Initially, I understood these answers intellectually, but that wasn’t as fulfilling as I had hoped. Then, by grace, I experienced an awakening in 2021 that transformed my understanding. Suddenly, I could see, hear, and comprehend everything around me—from people’s lives to the feelings of trees.
I continue to work in the national defense and security arena because I genuinely enjoy it. However, it became clear that I also needed to dedicate time and energy to my gifts as a clairvoyant, clairsentient, clairaudient, medium, and healer. This is what I do now.
Other than training/knowledge, what do you think is most helpful for succeeding in your field?
I try to stay away from social media as much as possible, not due to an inability to see its advantages—especially for career advancement—but because I struggle to avoid being absorbed by the social media whirlwind. I only maintain a private Instagram account to connect with colleagues, friends, and family, and to find inspiration in others’ posts. However, I often find myself deleting the app due to its addictive nature.
I’ve been advised that people won’t discover my Akashic Records reading services without a solid online presence. Yet, new clients come to me every week through word of mouth. While I would love to have more clients, I’ve learned to accept my current limitations with grace and compassion.
The prevailing notion of “more is always more” in our lives—whether it’s about fitness, health, spirituality, or success—isn’t always beneficial in the present moment. Instead of being harsh on myself, I’m becoming increasingly compassionate and understanding of my vulnerabilities. I respect my own pace and recognize that there’s no need to rush anything. Success is no longer a goal but how I experience the path.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
I currently make a living as a freelance consultant for governments and NGOs on national defense and security projects, always incorporating a gender perspective. I also work primarily virtually, offering Akashic Records readings, healing, and medium sessions from home. Additionally, I serve as an intellectual and emotional coach for beauty pageant contestants participating in Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss International, and Miss Earth.
Having no online presence for any of these professional roles means I rely solely on client feedback about my work, which has been fruitful so far. While I want to grow in these three areas of my career, I understand that this growth will require a communications and marketing plan. Until that day comes, there’s nothing more satisfying than knowing that every new client I gain is solely because I have done my job well.
