The most meaningful project I’ve worked on is my daily sunset photography at the beach. It began with a simple walk along the shore, where I enjoyed the sunset, the ocean breeze, and the sound of the waves. During these walks, I started to notice beautiful moments—families playing together, children laughing, and sea animals appearing unexpectedly. These moments inspired me to bring my camera and capture the magic of each evening. Now, I spend about one to two hours almost every day at the beach, photographing these special moments.

Someone once asked me, “Charlie, what kind of special photo are you going to take today?” I was puzzled the first time I heard this question, but now I can confidently say, “Every day, every moment I am here and take is special,” because the place I go is different from yesterday and will be different tomorrow, even though I come to the same place every day.

This project is meaningful to me for several reasons. It allows me to connect deeply with nature, capturing fleeting moments that would otherwise be lost. It has helped me grow as a photographer and as a person, teaching me patience and mindfulness. Sharing my photographs brings joy to others, evoking memories and inspiring them to appreciate the simple pleasures in life. This daily ritual has become a cherished part of my day, a time for reflection, creativity, and relaxation. My journey into photography began with a passion for capturing life’s fleeting moments, which eventually turned into a fulfilling career. Over the years, I have honed my skills and expanded my expertise across various genres, including fashion, portraits, events, and weddings.

I pride myself on being a friendly and approachable person, which helps me connect with my clients and understand their unique needs. Additionally, I am multilingual, speaking English, Korean, and Japanese, which allows me to cater to a diverse clientele and communicate effectively with people from different backgrounds.

Currently, I share my photos online, but I hope to one day showcase them to the world through exhibitions or books. My mission is to bring the beauty of nature to others, allowing them to experience the same awe and wonder that I do.
