Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Chardelle Moore. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Chardelle, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
In 2019, I made the bold decision not to renew my contract as a television host and reporter at WBFF FOX 45 Baltimore. Instead, I ventured into entrepreneurship and launched my own multimedia communications company, Motivational Moore. This decision was not easy; it required courage, prayer, and deep self-reflection. However, I knew in my soul it was time to take ownership of my creative properties.
Throughout my entertainment career, I have worked with some of the world’s leading companies, including CBS, FOX, BET, and The CW. In addition to my media work, I have held roles as a model, motivational speaker, poet, corporate emcee, and a proud former Miss Caribbean Metro USA. Yet, starting a company from scratch demanded a different level of grit and dedication.
With a lifelong passion for the arts, empowerment, exploration, and spirituality, my vision for Motivational Moore was to seamlessly blend these realms. With a focus on elevating human consciousness, we develop and produce premium content spanning music, television, film, speech, literature, editorial campaigns, and live events. I love creating impactful works that uplift and encourage people, with my proudest body of work being my multi-genre debut album, “Inward Awakening,” released under our record label, Motivational Moore Music.
Entrepreneurship is no joke; it is both hard and beautiful. I am immensely grateful for the journey and continuous evolution.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
Our most effective strategy for expanding our clientele involves pitching, leveraging social media, and relying on word of mouth. At Motivational Moore, many of our new clients are the result of my outreach efforts. Balancing the roles of a creative and an account executive requires considerable effort, especially during the developmental phase of the business. However, I embrace the workload with determination. Utilizing social media is a given, and, as the saying goes, hard work invariably pays off. Notably, the majority of our clients are recurring, a testament to the quality of our services.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
My journey to building a social media audience has been rooted in radical authenticity, showcasing various facets of both myself and my art. Often, creatives feel pressured to confine themselves to specific categories, limiting their brilliance and individuality. Yet, many of us are inherently multidisciplinary. Society conditions us to believe we must specialize in one area. However, on my Instagram page, I offer a genuine portrayal of who I am: sharing my music, poetry, TV work, speaking engagements, passion for fashion, and more. By remaining steadfast in honoring my soul’s essence, I’ve cultivated an authentic, organic following. They appreciate witnessing the diverse dimensions of my identity, serving as an inspiration for them to embrace their authenticity and shine brightly in their paths.
